  1. On my new Allround I put a SRT trigger kit in a Wolff 17lb hammer spring and polished the hammer, sear and other ignition parts with my dremmel polishing wheel and mothers mag polish and it is smooth and has to be close to 7lbs or just below, and the feel of SA is alot like that of my $3500 STI custom, crisp, lighter and with a clean break!! Compared to my 229 with SRT and my Mk 25 it is hella lighter and smooth.

    X5 Trigger mods

jcc7x7, When you say polish every surface do you mean just the sear and hammer/ignition parts? Or is there other surfaces you would recommend polishing also? Any pic's would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
  3. Thanks Jafo! I just didn't want to assume. Have you seen this article: http://www.handgunsmag.com/2012/03/22/an-instant-trigger-job-on-a-sig-p226/ Looks pretty spot on! Cheers!
  4. Hello all! I have a new x-5 allround on its way to me and trying to beat it's delivery I am trying to get some new springs. I want to put a 17lb hammer spring but there are 2 types, which appear to be called the new and the old style. Without assuming I would think it is the new plastic base. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it greatly! Cheers! Jason

    Sig 226

Not to barge in on the OP but I am also trying to find a multi caliber setup in 226. My question is I have 7 mecgar 9 mm 18 round mags, will they fit in the classic .22 sig p226?

  10. Hi Jason, Yes, I did send over the large amount of requests for this shell to B&P Italy, and they have agreed to keep manufacturing them. Although, I do not expect them until the Fall, please let me know how many cases you would like to backorder so that I can ensure you receive them. Thank you.

  15. As stated I bought 100 Fiocchi Exacta Aero slugs 12LRSL 1 oz low recoil 1150 fps slugs while I am waiting on a case of B&P slugs. I went to check my zero and after running a box of bird shot at some clays I put in 4 of the Fiocchi's cycled one in the chamber send it to the target (which was only about 2 inches low at 50yds)and it doesn't cycle the bolt. I am a bit shokced but grab the bolt handle and it won't move, I tug harder and it doesn't move, I then placed the butt stock in my hip and after pulling on the bolt handle like I am starting a chain saw with a shitton of compression it finally releases and opens and ejects. Rinse, re-cycle and repeat and 10 shots in I am over it, damn thing shoots the slugs where I want them but won't budge the bolt on iota to the rear. I put another box of bird shot thru it with no issues or problems. Tried one more of the slugs and it refused to cycle and was again stuck like a freshly breed dog! After reading many posts I havn't seen anyone having their bolts stuck shut. Thanks for any and all help. It does have the light piston in it ATM. Cheers! Jason
  16. Awesome!! Mine is there now awaiting a make over!! Can't wait! Cheers!
  17. I reload range pick up brass and in my limited KKM .40 barrel I had a Large amount of failure to feeds. I would guess more than 10 per 100. Since I bought the EGW Udie I have had 3 out of about 1500 that would not drop into my KKM chamber. I would recommend one of them any day. I also don't 100% trust the dillon .40s&w case gage. The cases that wouldn't drop in the chamber of my KKM would drop into the dillon gage with no problems. I have since made it a habit even when using the EGW undersized die to drop check all my rounds before a match. I shot steel this past weekend and drop checked 290 rounds and 2 were really on the tight side in my barrel so I didn't let them into the batch I took to the shoot. On a side note at the match saturday a guy in my squad had 2 FTF that he had drop checked in a dillon gage and it screwed him on those 2 strings. YMMV Happy New Year! Cheers! Jason Edit: I am using a Dillon 650 EGW Udie the rest are Dillon.
  18. I have read thru it once and starting it again! Great info. Plotting my trip to OK. LOL would love to take one of MIke's Classes. Can't wait for the future. Thanks for your effort in bringing this program to life!!! Cheers! Jason
  19. I love http://www.amazon.com/Howard-Leight-R-01526-Electronic-Earmuff/dp/B001T7QJ9O those!! I have never had them make my ears ring when leaving a shoot. There is also a plug you can put an ipod type device or walkie talkie in to. I have had mine for 4 years and like them alot!!!
  20. Check the primer seating cup. I had the same problem with WSP primers and none other, then I looked and had a friend look and it came with the small powder dropper but the Large primer seating cup!!! Change the cup I bet you have no more crunched primers! Let me know! Cheers!
  21. Welcome!! This place has more info and will likely drive you to insomnia!! Remember your search function and hide your Visa!! Cheers!
  22. I have searched and read about every item on here for some info on Bayou Bullet load data. I am needing a good solid starting point for a glock 22 loading minor to factory OAL. I am also looking for a good starting load for 40 Major out of a 5 inch STI weapon. I am using WSP primers and VVn320 powder. I was shooting MG 180 CMJ's thru my G22 and it was a nice soft accurate load and even shot it from a friends 5" limited pistol. It shot well in both but with the coated nature of the Bayou Bullets I know I am going to have to lighten the minor load some. I have seen only 1 solid load combo with the Bayou bullets in .40 major with VV320 and it seemed off. Any helpwould be great thanks! Cheers!
