  1. how the heck did you get a TI left handed charging receiver? everytime I look they are OOS. any pics of the gun?
  2. what kind of accuracy are you getting at 50 yards? Want to make a LW gun for my younger kids, was going with a ULW Kidd barrel but if this shoots well then I will maybe buy one I assume you can’t get it threaded so you can suppress it if wanted to? Only 6” barrel with a shroud ...hmmmmm...
  3. Very nice. What rounds were you shooting?
  4. Picked it up. Gray color wasn’t my favorite but saving money is great. Dot is bright and I need to get it sighted in. Will post pics when I get home Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Hmmm wonder if it will ever take off in the US like the VR80 is. I like the looks better but if all the support is for the VR80 it’s better not to have a gun without any aftermarket support Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Random question. Does anyone know if the Typhoon F12 is just a rebranded VR80 without the ambi-charging handle? If it is I would opt to start with that and then I wouldn't have to buy as much furniture to get the gun to where I need it. Link to Atlantic Firearms F12 page
  7. My only issue is the 4MOA. The deal is only for the gray 4MOA plastic body
  8. Perfect. Found a 4 MOA gray one for 178 bucks and am tempted but it is the plastic body. Is the metal body worth the money? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Great to see more products for the VR80. It’s got a lot going for it now.
  10. I know this isn’t a rimfire forum but you guys have the most experience with CMORE sights on pistols. I Have had this mount from striplin custom gunworks for a few years and now need to buy a sight. I don’t know anything about the models and which model would be best for a rimfire pistol for general shooting (2 gun all the way to having kids plink with it) and what size of dot I should be looking at. https://striplincustom.com/products/browning-buckmark-90-degree-c-more-mount Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Palmetto state has some for 619.00 Don’t know if that’s a good price but they have some https://palmettostatearmory.com/armscor-vr80-tactical-12-gauge-shotgun-vr80.html?trk_msg=SHI0HGEP5S84TA46JAHFHJS9PS&trk_contact=O7LDIP1TPHH3FSV6B1G8GMSAJG&trk_sid=0R8SLV7125MFFI6MG05F12LMQO&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=https%3a%2f%2fpalmettostatearmory.com%2farmscor-vr80-tactical-12-gauge-shotgun-vr80.html&utm_campaign=Daily+Deal+Email&utm_content=12%3a00+Email
  12. Am I the only one that would love to see a 12 round magazine like the old Saiga-12 , 12 round mags (nutsack). something that holds a decent amount but isn't insanely long or wide?
  13. Nice to see more Ar style shotguns coming out Other than the charging handle that can be on either side, why wouldn't one go with the Typhoon F12? For the same price you can get an F12 with a flatter faced trigger and different grips and stocks from Atlantic Firearms for the same price (unless they come in below MSRP). If they are significantly cheaper then its a no brainer
  14. Tag for results and for range report on shotgun ?
  15. Small update: Got it in, mounted and took it for some hunting the other day. A few observations. 1. On 4x the glass is comparable to my Vortex Viper HS 2.5-10 on 4x (except you can't adjust the parallax) 2. Adjusting the diopter (I think that is what it is called) is very important on 1x and make's a huge difference on the feel. 3. Illumination is not daylight bright (no surprise there and knew it wouldn't be) 4. Reticle is much better than I expected and easy to use 5. Small cat's tail is handy but would be nice if it was a little larger 6. Low light and no light (or spotlight) use is about as good as my Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12. I was kind of disappointed in the night time performance even with a spot light to help illuminate things. Red dot's seem to me much easier to get on target at night than this scope so far (might be user error and need to practice both eye's open at night better). 7. Speed on 1x is almost as fast as a red dot on this scope (I have tried some lower end 1x scopes before and this scope is much easier to get behind). Chasing jack rabbits through the sage-brush is hard and I didn't feel limited by the scope just limited by my skills Overall for now I am quiet pleased - Is it perfect - No but it is much better than the PA 1-6, Burris 1-4, and Vortex 1-4's I have used over the past few years
  16. It looks like everything is metal construction. Does the shotgun take down easier than the Akdal? Are you going to do a full review comparing the Akdal to the XTR-12? It would be nice to see a side by side comparing build quality and unique features (i.e. gas systems, recoil, etc..)
  17. Very interesting. When did they start selling them? I haven't seen any about or read anything about them only videos from ShotShow. Wasn't there going to be a few different models? BTW looks good
  18. Just bought a used one. Will post thoughts also when I get it in. I hope it is as nice as the TR24 is and hopefully the same glass quality
  19. Well I decided to go for it. Should be here in a few weeks. If I don't like then down the road it will go
  20. I have had both 10-22's and Ar15 - 22lrs Ar15 - Taccom 3g ULW 22lr upper Core 15 22lr Upper TacSol 22lr upper (SBX barrel) Ruger 10-22's Que'd bolt Barrels Bulter Creek (Carbon Fiber~ish) Que'd OEM barrel Taccom3g - ULW 10-22 barrel PWS Carbon Fiber T-3 barrle TacSol SBX Barrels Overall reliability winners were 10-22 with Taccom 3G barrel and Que'd Bolt 10-22 with Que'd Barrel and Bolt Ar15 With Taccom 3G upper Ar15 Core 15 22lr upper Any of these four set ups ran everything from Remington Gold, Thunderbolts to RWS match Having said that my other set ups were pretty dang good also. Currently I only have my 10-22 with the Taccom3G barrel which eats everything and anything but am really jonesing for another .22lr upper but if I do it will probably be a SBR upper
  21. This is the Accupower which is different from the TR24 Here is a link. https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=RS24-C-1900006 It uses a battery for illumination which is not daylight bright
  22. Have the chance to buy an accupower 1-4 used ~ 525.00 My question is - How does it stack up against other scopes in that price range (i.e. Vortex PST 1-4, Vortex SE 1-6, PA 1-6, Burris MTAC 1-4, etc....) Is the juice worth the squeeze? This won't be going on my Ar15 but will be going on my truck gun (10-22) That gets used a lot from hunting rabbits, p-dogs (Day/night), plinking, varmint dispatching etc... 1. big thing to me is Eyebox. - When hoping in an out of the vehicles (Trucks, SXS, Wheelers, etc..) to hiking around, it seems eyebox is pretty crucial (yes proper cheek placement and consistency helps a lot but I also like a forgiving eyebox also ) Any other optic in this range that is better?
