Thanks for the load info stick. Right now I am using W231 and the gun seems to like it so far, but I do have some title group I might try later on.

It is just a general note at the bottom of the 147 gr chart. Doesn’t say anything about powder.

I am working on loading different weight bullets to see what my Pcc will like. I have several reloading Manuals but my Speer Manual has a note under the 147 gr. Bullet that the 147 grain is not recommend for barrels 10 in or longer, is this due to pressure or maybe velocity? thanks in advance

Holy crap I have read thru this thread for the last 3 days and I have finally finished it. Now I can't remember half of it. I did some searching and came up with nothing, but I need some load data for my 38 super comp to shoot minor. I have HS 6, power pistol and for bullets I have 115 HAP, 125 RN and 147 RN. Thanks Jim

I am having the same issue with my 38 supercomp brass also, I loaded brand new star line with no problems, but with once fired the die is not sizing. I am using the hornady LNL press. The dies are Lee Carbide 38 super auto. I have only loaded about 200 rounds with these dies. The carbide ring is there and in good shape. I hope your new die dose the trick, if so I will be ordering one

Thanks everybody for all of the great info. The guy I got this gun from was using imr4756 which is being discontinued and MG124 bullet. So now I am trying to develop a load for me. What I am trying to understand beside's the FPS is when I read all of these articles they mention 38 super auto, 38 super, 38 super+p and 38 super comp. that these all the same cartridge correct???

We have a little up here in Alaska and lately it's been titegroup and a few others. Most of the time it's either Hodgdon or Accurate. Haven't seen Alliant or V V for a while though.

Surprisingly these berrys are coated on the bottom also, but I will stay away from them. EEH any idea where the FSP needs to be. I am asuming that the MG meets the FSP if so what grain's can I use. Thanks

I am gettin ready to start reloading 38 super comp and I am confused about which bullets I can use. I some what understand about the PF for the gun, which is a caspian 38 super comp with a 3 port comp. What I am having trouble with is the FPS for the bullet. What is the minimum FSP I can shoot. For example I have some Berrys 115gn RNDS will the work or not. Thanks in advance Jim

Very nice work, I really like how it came out. Looks like the testing is going good so far also. I have the XDM in 9 and 40 and I am in the process of making the 40 into a open gun. If that mount ends up working for you I would be interested in buying one. Thanks Jim

Found 2 bricks up here at 3 bears 25 a brick, I didn't think that was to bad for up here. It was any where from 13.95 to 18.95 before

I also get 24 with my pistol gear and they both run great.

I did my XDM 9, xd 40 and XDM 40. The difference is night and day the triggers on all of them are awesome.

I sent my caspian 38 super into Doug at accurail to have a new slide fitted, the old slide already had the accurails. So I got a call from Doug today and he asked if it was ok to lighten the back of the slide because my PF is 175 I told him to go ahead and do it. My question is with him lighten the slide by I believe .020 dose this mean that it will take less to make the slide operate and in turn I can lower how much powder I will be loading with or am I way off. Please help this newby. Thanks Jim

I bought a Caspian 38 super comp and I have a question about primers, I did some searching and I didn't see any info. I loaded the last of my brass with small rifle primers, but I am wondering if I could use small magnum pistol primers? If so would I need to change the amount of powder. Thanks Jim

I have the burris on my slide and I can't stand it. It's coming off and a c more is going on with a carver mount.

My vote is go with a 9mm, then I can buy your 38 brass On a side note hopefully Doug will be calling me soon to send my gun back. I can't wait. I have already loaded the last of the brass I got from you and I am ready to start practicing. And I wanted to say thanks again for setting me up to shoot open.
