  1. It is marketing. Same ammo as there others. Ammo velocity is normally measured in a 4.5 to 5 inch barrel. Hornady actually puts a .380 projectile in there lite critical defense ammo.
  2. What bracket are you talking about. I put the small rifle plate in the feeder. Then the correct drop tube part and case feeder. No issues at all.
  3. convert your powder measure to the old style. with return springs. numerous threads with instructions.
  4. Had a SDB on an inline fab bench mount. My 550 is on one. Have various other items on the brackets. Vice, single stage press. wilson case trimer just to name a few.
  5. load the HS 6 to the 150ish power factor range. Clays can/will pressure spike with 147s. I just don't like TG. It makes the gun to hot.
  6. It is fairly easy to test cold to hot temperature effects.50 rounds in the freezer overnight .(-40 deg). 50 rounds in the refrigerator overnight (40 ish deg). 50 rounds on a heating pad overnight (100/110 deg).50 rounds at room temperature(?) I chrono at home so no problem keeping at temps. If you have to travel you will need a few empty coolers to maintain the temperatures.(smaller the better). Haven't tested WST . But several others. Clean shot was the worst. Over 200fps from extreme cold to hot.
  7. The day I posten that YOU had left the same message on EVERY ongoing discussion. You evin dug up a few old ones. If all you are here to do is promote your youtube channel. This may not be the place for you. i will no say any more.
  8. Not interested in a nother self proclaimed youtube expert. If you had less than 50 post . I would suspect you were making a run to sale some bobble.
  9. The only"up grade" I have on my Dillon case feeder. Is this little knob. Its really not needed. https://entirelycrimson.com/collections/dillon-super-1050/products/case-feeder-plate-knobs-for-dillon
  10. Your ammo is to short . Part of fitting a barrel is finish reaming/throating. You should be able to chamber ammo loaded to 1.130+ length. It takes a gunsmith all of 5 minutes to throat a barrel.
  11. They seat shorter if you don't change your seating adjustment. There purpose is to feed better in a PCC. Three guys I load ammo for have went back to V1. It's in there heads but they claim that the V2 recoil impulse is slower. They buy the bullets. I just load them up.
  12. Brass has lubricating properties. Minor but they are there.
  13. Everyone is going to have their own opinion. Every 3D printed idem I have tried. Gave me issues. Three Dillon case feeders. Not a single one has ever failed to work. I read about issues. But haven't experienced any of them.
  14. look around on this forum. you will find several discussions about misfires(fail to fire,). that are traced back to not seating primers below flush.(not just revolvers) some people just don't understand (comprehend)below flush. they need a number. Then they need a way to measure that. I use a set of calipers to set up my 1050. No special tools needed.you need a set of calipers any way. OP specifically said he did not want to use his calipers. I use a tread depth gauge to set up crimp on shotgun shells. Could use a set of calipers. But not as easy as it sounds. That's why I recommend it for primer depth.
  15. reported , returned, replaced , before they were available to the general public.
  16. WST and clean shot are reverse temperature sensitive.
  17. If this is range brass. This would be normal. Next to properly size on a press like the 750 . All stations have to be full. That is to be consistent. I have used empty powder dies . Set to kiss the plate to eliminate flex. Really only need one or two across from the sizing die.
  18. please elaborate. what issue haven't you heard of?
  19. Simple don't buy any 230grain ball ammo. If you want truly light loads. You are going to reload your self. 185 gr wad cutters would be the best option in factory.
  20. Doubt you will blow up your gun. You are probably at or above max pressure for 231 thow. Also doubt you'll be able to feel the difference in power factor. When you lower it. Especially on the clock so to speak.
