  1. Duane, Looks a lot like the site was done with Wordpress Alan
  2. Call Caspian, Thay have a sheet metal base plate that fits their original 9mm/38Super mag, if you have those. They also have the smaller basepad that was mentioned above for their newer mag. Alan
  3. Was contacted by a USPSA member that is currently home on RR from an assignment in the middle east. He was looking to sell his Dillon Super 1050 with accessories and two SVI Limited gun and their gear. I was able to put him in contact with the parents of two boys that started shooting USPSA last year. They bought the two SVI's. The oldest boy will be shooting one of the SVI's later this year and the younger one will have an SVI waiting in their safe for a year. The individual selling these items sold them for a steal of a price. Oh I got the 1050.
  4. I see no compelling reason to change USPSA production rules. If you want to run production mags with 15 rounds in them, then you can at an US-IPSC match. Which, by the way is allowed within USPSA. Any USPSA Club can hold an IPSC rules match. Alan
  5. Here are two pics of my limited gun. The heavy dust cover is just a slight bit narrower than the slide. Alan
  6. Caspian has a heavy cover option in the Hi-Cap frame.
  7. Yea, but you couldn't give them away
  8. Mark, Call Caspian they have a basepad for their mag. here is a thread where I posted some pics Alan
  9. There is no rule in USPSA that limits the number of penalized no shoot hits to two. IPSC has a rule that limits no shoot hit penalties to two per no-shoot. So in USPSA you get all no shoot hits as penalties. Alan
  10. Spent the better part of the day on the phone with Microsoft support and ques what, we got nowhere. Will be back on the phone with them on Monday morning Alan
  11. Hmmm, some other suggestions to try (grasping at straws) When you used diskpart did you resize it to an odd size like 8 or 10GB or so or just try to put it to the size it "should be?" If not I would try that and just see if a pointer got stuck/confused. Did not do a resize of the partition, this is a production system that is on the other side of the world that we remotely manage. We do have some hands available remotely but they are not System Administrators. Is it a Soft-RAID or a hardware RAID? Hardware Raid If it is a hardware RAID what size does the RAID utility on the card say the logical/physical drive size is? Do you have the latest RAID BIOS and RAID drivers for the hardware? We had an issue about a year ago on one of our SQL boxes where there was an issue with an old RAID driver/BIOS combo we had that knocked the array totally offline. We had to update the SCSI BIOS and then remount the entire array and it was fine after that, no data loss, but I think I lost 10 years off my life when the tech that had hands on the server said "hey it wants me to initialize the array, I am going to say yes." and I screamed out **NOOooooooo!!** Fortunately he stopped before hitting the Y button! *phew!* If it is a soft-RAID I would say to back everything up and re-setup the RAID array. I have never had good luck with the MS soft-RAID utility in a 0 or 1 setup and try to not set up a drive as Dynamic either if I can help it. For some reason whenever I make a drive dynamic I start having drive issues later on. If I leave it as Basic then no problems. *shrugs* We diligently ghost the systems, applied a ghost image to a spare box and got the exact same issue. Thanks again for all the ideas. Alan
  12. Jon, It is a raid configuration, Thanks for the suggestions have been through diskpart and no luck. Files are not eating up space. Disk Manager reports the correct drive size and space used/free space available and the drive is healthy. chkdsk confirms the same as drive manager. backup is backing up the same files size as as reported as used in drive manager and chkdsk. Don't know how long this has been the state of the c: drive. If I had any hair this last Monday I would be bald today LOL Appreciate all the suggestions. Alan
  13. C: Drive is not shared as the users home directory and profiles are on the D: Drive. (no quota tab) Thanks Also to add this is BDC. Alan
  14. Here goes, I have a Windows Server 2003 that is currently showing in my computer the C: Drive as 1.0gb and free space as 0.99 gb. The C: partition is 35gb as reported in Disk Manager and chkdsk results. I have seen this before and can not remember how I fixed it the last time. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
  15. Sorry to hear about your mom Chris. Thoughts are with your family Alan
  16. The std dust cover on that Caspian should hold up fine. All of my Caspians that I have added mounts on are the std dustcover. Alan
  17. Now Jim, you know it just wouldn't be the same Area 8 Championship without you. Alan

16" on the back deck as of 11:00am
  19. Harry, First, there was no schedule for a cash payout. This was in accordance with the TechWear USA 2009 Area 8 Championship prize policy that was posted on the website. As far as the prize table, if the competitor was not there when their name was called, the remaining competitors were asked if someone that knew the competitor would pick out a prize for them. If no one came forward we were setting aside prizes other than the certificates that were for less than a $100 for the competitor that was not there. All prizes that we held for the competitors that were not at the prize table have been sent out. I do not recall if anyone local to you grabbed a prize for you. Alan
  20. The match dates for the 2010 USPSA Area 8 Championshiop have been locked in. 10 Stages + Chrono 225rds+ Watch for more details. Alan
  21. Using the Grams spring and follower for the 140mm Mag I can get 16rds in the mag using the IPSC base pad. If I was to tune the spring I could probably get at least one more may a second. You could probably use the Grams Follower in the original design mags, but the spring will pose an issue with the Caspian base pad. The spring needs to have its coils narrower. Alan
  22. Currently I am using the Grams springs and followers available from Henning's store here on BE. They are the ones for the Tanfoglio magazines. Alan
