thanks for the link. I thought it was a past topic could not find it. I use to hit the mag release with my support hand thumb on my way to a fresh mag. I think I could be faster this way. I will be able to keep my master grip. Thanks all for your help. I am excited. Julian

I am a right handed shooter with med/small hands. I am trying the mag release on right side of the gun and hitting it with my strong hand middle finger. Is this a bad idea. This is a new technique with little time. It feels quick and good. The only problem I can think of is accidentally hitting the mag release while firing. It has not happened yet. I like to get your idea, especially if you tried this or use this. Julian

I am sure this has been brought up several times, one more will not hurt. A little off topic....Is there a difference between Game (IPSC-IDPA) and tactical shooting? I was under the inpression one size fits all. If there is a difference, then the instructor you are looking for should specialize in your field of importance. Julian

We talked about the already accomplished shooter with years of experience. Does anyone know of an instructor that specializes in beginners. I figuered if you learn the right way out of the gate, life may be easier and more enjoyable. jdsons

Hi all, I look forward to learning a lot from this forum, and having fun from the matches. I have a few schedule problems that have kept me at bay. I know this is the year I finally start shooting. I am surrounded by great clubs and people, not to mention their superior skills. My two biggests problems. First, the physical, I am like most limited by $$$$$$$, I still hope to get out once a month. Second, the mental, I am an equipment guy. I will look at and read about guns, guns, and more guns.
