  1. Been 8 years since the last post. Technology moves on. Check out "Steel Target Paint" from https://www.rangestore.net/ (https://www.rangestore.net/collections/paints) Water based Very high resin/solids Matte finish
  2. Hi Paul, It may require a little fitting, as with all Glocks but it can be easily done - see here: Hope it helps. Eli. Got it and like it - did not require any dremmeling. Very secure until needed. Also got the belt and mag holders. Slight quibble with the mag holders though - with the G22 mags neither of the spacer options are the right thickness. The mag only fits with the smaller spacers but with the adjustment screw backed as far out at it can go and after straigthening out the spring tensioners a bit - and then the spacers are so loose in the holder when there is no mag that it is in danger of falling out. Any other suggestion?
  3. Anyone have experience using the DAA RM with a Glock G22, Gen 4? I see the caveat on the DAA .biz site. I am thinking of getting the DAARM with the Glock and STI inserts. Paul

  23. I can attempt to do that. However, I am a new editor on the block and have to prove worth before getting freer rein. I have removed all the stuff about SWAT and sniper training, as well as all the store stuff. I am building categories for these, but as the new kid on the block, cannot yet create new categories. Check out the category again - it is much more focussed now. And, submit your favorite sites.
  24. I have become an editor for the Open Directory Project which catalogs the web using humint instead of robots. The catalog is used by major search engines and services. My category is Recreation:Guns:Competition Shooting:Tactical Action which encompasses IPSC, IDPA etc When I took over, this category had unprocessed submissions since July 2002 i.e. moribund. I have cleaned up the backlog and am now soliciting new site URLs to include in the catalog. Sites should be clubs and organizations involved in the sports, not manufacturers or suppliers. They would be under Shopping:Recreation:Guns There are manufacturers and suppliers in the category now - I just have not got around to moving them yet. Do not add to my burden there. Please submit your favorite club sites using the folling link: http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/add.cgi?where=Recr...Tactical_Action DO NOT add them to this topic or email me -- follow the process please. Inclusion in the catalog may improve your site's ranking in search engine results.

    Lead Exposure

Bob 'headshot' Elmore, GPSL club Treasurer and Georgia Section coordinator, assembled this small treatise on lead exposure for our members ... http://www.gpsl.org/articles/Lead_Exposure.pdf Exposure through tumblers was a later point Bob added on our GPSL forum discussion: "Kerry Alexander, the range safety officer at the Cherokee Gun Club, also brings up another lead exposure for those of us who reload our own ammunition. When you open your case tumbler and empty the contents into a rotary media separator, be sure to avoid breathing in the dust. Although most of it is too large to be respirable, there is some very fine lead laden dust in with the larger particles. And if you ingest any of it by way of your mouth, particle size doesn't matter."
