  1. Ok I get it and thanks for the quick reply. Also thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. Hopefully I'll see you at the Illinois Sectional!
  2. Hey Micah, Why did you switch from Production to L10 for this match? Just curious, because I know you are primarily a Production shooter. So I figured you would shoot Production because there was more competition in that division than L10.
  3. Congratulations on a great match! Thank you sir and thanks for watching the video.
  4. Nice job winning your first big match buddy! He's only 18 guys... JT Thanks JT! I really appreciate the support. See you at PineTree.
  5. Alex, Congratulations! Nice shooting. Alex also gets the cool shooting shirt award for sporting the Pine Tree with two guns. Thanks E K I like the shirt to.
  6. Thanks to match staff and everybody who helped put together this match. I had a good time at my first Ohio State match, even in the heat. ETA- The picture and sound is better if you go to YouTube and watch the video. Here's my match video,
  7. Do you use a snap cap when you dry fire? I've broken the breech face of a Glock and a striker from not using a snap when I dry fired.
  8. Four more apps coming your way! This will be our first Ohio State Championship match.
  9. Here's some stippling I did to my dad's shotgun.
  10. It sure is a lot of people! Tri county put on a great Area 5 in 2010. I'm sure this match will be more of the same.
  11. Yes, I will be shooting the match all day on Saturday.

  12. When the Area 5 was at Tri County Gun Club in 2010, there was a total of 337 shooters.
  13. Looking forward to the match! PASA matches always have good stages.
  14. That's awesome! Sounds like a good day at the range.
  15. I would say stand up. I wouldn't think you would be losing time by standing up, because you have to take your hands off of your knees and grab the gun. All of that can be done while you are standing up. Also I feel you will have better recoil control and better transitions when you are standing up.
  16. Not based on his own stagement of "I raised the beavertail area, raised the area under the trigger guard and removed the finger grooves" I think you're referring to serevince's post. The stippling is the only modification I've done (except for replacing the ext. mag release with a factory ext. release). Curious - would "prepping" portions of the grip frame before stippling be considered out of bounds for Production based on the "removing material/changing grip profile" rule? The way I read it, stippling on top of existing finger grooves and the like = legal, but sanding off the grooves before stippling = illegal. Almost feel like I'm diving into semantics at this point, but still interested on how you all interpret it. How come I can't remove the finger grooves on my Gen 3 Glock and then stipple it? I like the feel of a Gen 2 grip. But I don't want to buy a Gen 2 Lower when I could just do this.(Production Divison)
  17. Ben Stoeger covers this pretty well on his website. LINK-http://benstoeger.myonlineplace.org/joomla/index.php?view=article&catid=39%3Atechnique&id=147%3Apartial-targets&option=com_content&Itemid=58
