many shooters are using that kind of set up in their classic guns (at least where i'm from), it fits the ipsc box. if it's not allowed then its just an easy fix anyway .

will be shooting classic minor in ipsc with this gun after the gun ban.

yes for me, i compete in ipsc classic division with two identically set upped 1911 and i carry a 1911 cco..all in .45 acp..

thank you..both guns have egw sear, disco., sear spring, tungsten guide rod, ti hammer strut and mainspring cap, square firing pin stop.. dk hammer, caspian trik trigger, ed brown hardcore series firing pin, extractor, and ejector, ed brown slide stop, thumb safety, and adjustable rear sight..chip mccormick grip safety, techwell xt ipsc magwell, kart nm barrel..

my ipsc classic division pistols..

them techwells are BIG ones specially the xt model and the tgo model, used to have one on my trojan for ss division..but with the new ipsc rules on classic division the xt model would be too big..

i emailed vz grips before if they would precut their grips to fit the techwell magwell but i didnt receive any reply. i suppose its a diy job or ask somebody else who is more competent with a dremel to do the job ..

great thanks for all the replies..i forgot to mention earlier that the GS was sensitized before with the oem MSH installed on it, but i suppose that wont be a problem even if i replace the oem MSH. the GS travels all the way back just like with the oem MSH or with the ed brown MSH. i took measurements last night and i found out that the oem MSH is a bit longer than the ed brown, with the ed brown installed there is a noticeable wider gap between the GS and the MSH. now i dont know whether to leave the GS deactivated with the ed brown MSH installed or put back the oem MSH and have a functioning GS or is there a way to have the GS working with the ed brown MSH installed on the gun?

last night i replaced the stock plastic main spring housing of my trojan .45 into an ed brown steel main spring housing, the fit was perfect but after i was done assembling it the grip safety wasnt functioning anymore. the hammer would fall even without depressing the grip safety. i reassembled it making sure the sear spring is engaging the right places but still the grip safety wont function. any inputs?

is the tripp sight also available in lpa cut? spartan is lpa cut, i wish i could fit one in my spartan without having a bomar cut done into it..

i'm contemplating on using the dawson ice magwell with mainspring housing on my single stack project (a spartan in cal. 45), is it a one piece magwell? and i use cmc 8 rounder mags, do i still have to use the dp base pads? how about the with gap model, do i still have to use the dp base pads on my cmc 8 rounder mags? thank you
