Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. 3.5g of Titegroup under a 147g Berry is my USPSA load in my XDM.. Its perfect to me.
  2. Here is a pic of mine, just finished working on it. Nothing special, but it will work.
  3. My competition load is 3.5g TG under a 147 Berry RN plated, PF of around 135 and feels soft as can be.
  4. I shoot these alot, buy my 1911 sometimes struggles getting into battery with them for some reason, i need to play around with the COAL, but my M&P45 loves them and i shoot them pretty hard.
  5. i am planning on getting the RAM for mine as soon as my LGS gets it back in stock, should be nice, i just dont love how far you have to get it to go once it gets past the Pre-Travel part, to where it actually breaks, just seems longer than I had anticipated, but then again I am used to my ESP XDM with a Powder River Ultimate Performance trigger kit. I am gonna go put another 150 rounds through it tomorrow morning, the new Sear only has 50 rounds through it so far and hopefully after breaking in some more, it might improve. Does any one know if Apex offers a kit thats just the upgrade parts? 2.5lnb trigger on a pure IDPA only gun could be useful.
  6. So i bought an M&P Pro 9mm, and it came with Apex DCAEK installed. This gun is going to be purely an IDPA SSP gun. I havent owned an M&P Pro before to compare how it was pre- DCAEK, but I dont love the trigger, it seems a tiny bit mushy now. Is the Apex Comp AEK something I should look into getting installed and taking out the DCAEK? I cant really figure out what the different parts from the DCAEK to the Comp AEK (Looks like they both use the Hard sear (same Hard sear?), the USB), but the Comp them comes with some other stuff that I dont have (Wonder if I can just order those parts). I still have the Stock sear (and some type of spring). Love the gun, just not the trigger, but need to keep it IDPA SSP legal. Any help?
  7. I use 4.4 Universal myself, but the exact same bullet. Its a GREAT load. I have since switched to 147g Berry RN over 3.5 TG, much less barrel flip/recoil it seems, but my backup IDPA round is the 4.4 Univ ober 124 MG JHP
  8. this is an old post, but i thought i would add my finding. I tested the full range with 230g RN Berry plated with WST, and came with the max load, 4.9 being the best, most accurate, softest shooting, and right around 785FPS out of my full size M&P. No pressure signs, bullets holding together great, overall very good load, but work up to it in your gun as this is what works best in mine.
  9. I just started concentrating on loads for my 40XDM, and found 4.0g WST with a 180g Frontier Plated FP. Soft shooting, and shoots about 0.75" high, but groups perfectly for me, 1.125" COAL.... I am now working on a load for my 2k of Berrys 180g FP to go along with the 7lbs of Universal Clays I just got.. Hopefully I can find something close to that load with Frontiers but I ran out of those projectiles and got a sweet deal on Berrys. I do love my XDM
