Actually, the box is going to be made so you can shoot it prone if you choose. Also, the targets on that stage are ONLY 200 yards. It is the other stage that there are a few targets out near 400.

From what I understand Birchwood Casey made them special for 3GN. I do not think you can get them. You can buy the 17.25 black shoot n'c and put an 8" Target Spot over the Black 17.25 one. I think that is as close as you can get.

I want to see all the new toys.. and it moves me up one spot in Tactical Heh, it would have been an easy choice if all my stuff was ready to go, but Im not going to have time to get my open pistol running before the match, so I'll have to borrow one (or maybe just use my limited one). I wont have the shotgun until end of next week, so I'll be betting on that its working OOB... I'll Openify the rifle by slapping on a bipod, so at least I have one out of three ready to go... Been wanting to shoot Open for so long that I'm not sure I can suffer through another match in Tac Gose: I vote you move to Open. I know you are tired of practicing loading a shotgun every night.

Show is great. I Tivo it and watch it the day after. The good thing is it only reviews 2 or 3 shooters. More than that would be too much. I would like to see it as a 1-hour show though.

Put it on safe and leave it. As you place the pistol look to make sure the safety does not re-engage. Put the pistol in the position DO NOT SLIDE!!!!!!!!! Always faster!

When you get your 930 from Benny you should take your 1100 to matches and shoot it only if there is a stage like that and you think you could do that again. Oh no, here comes a new rule. "If you think you could shoot your gun during the course of fire you may use a backup gun."

Yes, the M2 Tacticals have chokes in them. IMO for 3Gun you need Full, Light Modified or Modified, and a Diffuser choke. As for the quote you got from your shop I do not know. I just know Tony told me after I bought mine he bought all of the M2 fields from Benelli and the ones coming overseas. This does not account for the misc one in someone's shop. If you can wait I would. Put in your order and see what happens.

wow...very nice! where can i get rifle sights like that? The gun shop i deal with didn't have either configuration. I have a 3 gun match this weekend; where i will make up my mind via checking out fellow shooter's M2's. I'm going to order from the gun shop next week and will have to wait for a good while i assume. The sights are Universal Rifle Shotgun Sights---www.williamsgunsight.com Getting a 21" field is going to be hard the next year or so. Tony from Velocity Shooters has apparently bought up all the 21" field guns from Benelli this year. He is the distributor for "Salient Arms." The Salient was developed by Taran Butler and the gunsmith is Rob Melhorn. The "Salient" Benelli is unbelievable.
