I am 63 and just started shooting again after several years of not shooting.I shoot mostly pistol and revolver.I really enjoy reading the post made on this forum.It amazes me the knowlege people have and are willing to share.Glad to be aboard.

I am going to load .45acp for I.D.P.A. matches.The I will be load for major.The question I have is to use 230gr LRN or 230grCmJ.The lead RN I am thinking of using is from Oregon Bullets ant plated is from Montana Gold.The price difference is substantial.My thinking is ,shooting the load for major would not produce leading.Perhaps there are advantages I am not thinking of.Any input would be appreciated.
