Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. That sure is a pretty looking gun... One day I hope to own one like it.

    Mainspring in 75B

I have a shadow target, with 13# main spring installed. So far I have shot 200 rounds of remington ammo. No failures of any kind. Daniel
  3. Two 18 round mags instead of three? Seems a little odd for a shadow. Maybe they figure they can reduce the price and not everyone needs the extra mag.
  4. Very cool. I just shot my Shadow this Saturday for the first time. Don't have anything else to compare it to but this would definitely be a lighter version with benefits.
  5. A Decocker CZ will limit your ability to upgrade to the Competition hammer down the road. It will not be a drop in part and will require modifications to make it fit. You could still have a trigger job done to the gun with our with out the competition hamer. So its your call, most generally do not like the decocker models for competition. Daniel
  6. Hey Jastaute, I will check out my Shadow Target for this problem when I pick it up this Friday. So one can feel it hitting if you insert the mag more vertical/towards the back? Daniel
  7. Agreed, take it appart and gently bend it so its flat. Others have simply installed it facing the other way with pressure towards the back of the gun. Daniel
  8. Thanks for the heads up. I will be sure to save PDF versions of any PMs I want to save.
  9. I ordered one of these. Its still on its way(chose parel post to Hawaii). I originally intended to pick up a midway range bag, however they are on hold so this will hold me until they are available again. Daniel
  10. I intend to only shoot on Saturdays. I am considering shooting with honolulurhatrhatboyz and/or MPPL. Do you attend the Saturday night matches? Here are some quick low quality photos I took from my phone while at the FFL. I will take better ones when I have the gun at home. As a note, the gun came with rubber grips, wood were out of stock and will be sent to me when they arrive.
  11. I am very new to the rules of USPSA, however I believe there are some rules regarding changing the finish of a gun? Will this affect your intended use? Daniel
  12. I might be interested in some brass, maybe a flat rate box or two. Send me a PM if you get it. Daniel

    Grips

Jody, I know another person who uses the rubber instead of thin aluminum grips. This person also had Red thin aluminum grips which I purchased. My gun is at my FFL during my 2 week waiting period. It has rubber grips on it now and haven't tested my red grips yet. Have you decided on a set you will use permanently? Are you considering the thick aluminum grips? Daniel
  14. I did some research on making weight with the shadow here is the search is used: http://www.google.com/search?q=making+idpa+weight+with+Cz+sp01&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari It looks like you will need to change out your guide rod to the stock plastic one, use 10 round mags, and possibly change out the mag break to an aluminum version used in a CZ 75. That should get you pretty much there, if not you may have to try the factory plastic grips or the .40 oz wood grips sold online.
