Thank you for the info guys, a couple of things. I did fire the gun this morning, roughly 300 rounds with no problem from the trigger, my main concern is that it might act up during a match, which I will probably reloctite the set screws on the Armory Craft trigger. The trigger probably has about 1000 rounds on it with no problem before and I just added the gray guns guide rod and at the first match with it, I had some stove pipes as I was using the 15lb spring it came with which led me to want to try a 14lb spring.

Little bit of back ground, firearm only has a armory craft dual adjustable trigger and gray guns guide rod added to it and functioned well besides a few stovepipes. Installed a new 13 lb recoil spring to try and fix the stovepipe, after installing the new spring the trigger seems to go to a half reset/ weak reset and would not activate the striker. Put the 15 lb spring back in it and same trigger condition, after fooling with it for a while I activated the slide stop and everything started to function fine, the trigger has a positive reset and is activating the striker. I did notice that I can watch the back of the slide lower while pulling the trigger (only about 1 mm) and now it is very difficult to turn the slide pin to the unlock position in order to remove the slide. Any suggestions? Is it normal to have to active the slide stop after reassembly as well? Thanks LilB

Thats what I was thinking.

Correct that mag in the picture was taken out at unload and show clear. It didn’t touch the ground yet. The mag springs are relatively new.
-
Need some help with an issue. When I drop the mags for a reload or unloading they sometimes hang up due to the next round being forward a bit. (Attached an image of it if it works). This is on a limited custom extreme (newer version) only thing I’ve done to the mags is put the henning extended base plates with grams springs. Could this be a mag issue or gun issue? Thinking that with the slide being squared where it rides the next round in the mag it is pushing the round forward. Just wanted other opinions before it start altering the slide. Thanks

Louisiana shooters: any good places to run and gun?
lilbeauxdawg replied to Mdooz's topic in Introduce Yourself
We have an indoor practice at FRC on Choctaw every Tuesday evening starting around 6-630. Bring 100-150 rounds. Just let us know you’d like to practice some shooting on the move and we can set something up. -
If you do decide to cancel take a look at Hayes Custom, he does great work on shotguns. I’ve never had an issue with mine

I recently took my trigger group out for the first time to clean and lube it. Went to the range yesterday and the first 16 rounds with federal (walmart bulk pack) ran fine. I put Winchester AA in and the second shell came 1/2 to 3/4 out the mag tube onto the lifter and got stuck there. If I pushed the shell forward into the mag tube from the ejection port and pressed on the shell release button (little silver button to the right of the trigger) the shell would come all the way out onto the lifter. It did that 2-3 times within 7 rounds. I put the federals back in it and it did the same thing. Wondering if anyone has had the same issue or if I possibly out the trigger group in wrong somehow? Shotgun probably has around 400 rounds through it and this is the first time it has done this. thanks Brandon

I sent you a message with Dan's info. I don't have a limited gun from him but he did just build me an open gun and I love it.
-
I've done that. I use WST and load to 1.18 but I'll switch from a 180 to a 155 or 165 for steel matches like pro am and my gun will run all day long without switching any springs or anything else. I've never chrono'd with the lighter bullet but they feel good. Are you aiming for a particular PF or do you just wanna know if they work? Brandon

Here you go Sean LOL, I didn't know he practiced it....Now I am not that impressed...lol, nah. I know they were telling Blake not to do it, I am sure Jeff's buddies were telling him the same. Wow! Actually we encouraged him. I still owe him $5 for doing it. -

he apparently might have. throwing out stage 6 cost max the match. Looks like they updated the scores and STIs still rule. http://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-display-match-results-detail.php?indx=9534&division=Open&guntype=Pistol -
