  1. I like waffles I probably would like cocaine To heck with it...leave it as is
  2. Here or Effingham. Depends on what my brother wants to do. I can't believe it, he says he has never been to SC before. It is a little quicker drive, so I'm guessing we will be there. Knowing that Iliff will be there kind of seals the deal...lol
  3. Lol yeah. They are thinking about rotator cuff surgery for me. I'm trying to plan it where I wont miss much of this season or next. One of the EMTs that first arrived has sent me a few Facebook messages to check on his progress.
  4. That is good to hear. When I arrived I couldn't believe how calm he was, which kind of scared me. I know I wouldn't have been
  5. He was indeed a trooper. Thanks to all that made it. I hope to see you all next year. http://mywabashvalley.com/fulltext?nxd_id=320952 link to a some news coverage today. You can see my ugly arse (literally) around the 20 second mark
  6. The bally used to have a pretty decent brick oven pizza. There stromboli's were next to awesome as well. That is how I got through nursing school...pizza and beer between classes.
  7. LMAO it would be even better if the "normal" crowd were there. We could impart some wisdom
  8. Sounds like a Sycamore. I spent most of my 41 years there and have 3 degrees from ISU...You still aren't missing much. lol Fightin' Engineer instead of a Sycamore. Close, though. Had some good friends at ISU. In fact, if you're 41, we were there at the same time. yep. You're one of them there smart ones huh
  9. Sounds like a Sycamore. I spent most of my 41 years there and have 3 degrees from ISU...You still aren't missing much. lol
  10. I could use the new STI, I'd have all kinds of excuses. I'm going to shoot the M&P in Limited and practice up with the STI. Not quite smooth with it yet (I am not with the M&P either). Plus, I need to find a right side mag release for a lefty.
  11. I'll make sure you find the right stage to start at, just follow me in the golf cart. Make sure Jake walks
  12. it was mentioned a few posts back. If you squad is 300 you start at Chrono...301 Stage One...etcetera etcetera...You'll start Stage 9, I'll be on 10.
  13. I scored an STI Eagle today...LOL..anyone have a lefty holster for it? If not, she'll be a safe queen until I find one
  14. Does my Illinois Trooper uniform count in the costume contest? I don't see why not. Bring your squad car too. I'm sure Coach could use it as a prop. You still have these correct? http://s138.photobucket.com/user/FordMustangGT/media/IMG_8476.jpg.html (I don't know why it says Ford Mustang. Should be a Dodge Monaco
  15. I expect my application will be in today or tomorrow. Looking forward to it. I had to miss last year do to work
  16. Finally figured out my schedule. I will have that weekend off. Application printed and should be in the mail tomorrow.
  17. I will be working at a local glass manufacturer overseeing the Safety end of a furnace rebuild. I will be arriving March 3rd and leaving 4/25. Just in time for the Indiana State SS/Prod. match. I hope I get a few days of shooting in somewhere before then. I'm hoping to get to the indoor range in McHenry every other Wednesday. My weekends are probably few and far between. I know i'll have Easter off, but of course that falls on a 5th Sunday. Perhaps I'll shoot some IDPA to keep the skills up. Do they require membership?
  18. Sounds good, I'll see what I can do. I'll be coming from Wisconsin. Right now, that is the last weekend I'll have to be there for that job. I hoping to get some shooting in while I'm there.
  19. I still think I will be able to have the weekend off. Brent, is staff shooting Saturday only? If this is the case, I'm cancelling Friday vacation or at least only using 1/2 day.
  20. I did some live fire today. Nothing real formal. Mainly worked on transitioning on 2 10" plates and 1 12" plate. Often I got ahead with the eye snap. I seemed to be pushing low a little bit. Overall, I wasn't dissapointed. I was hitting the steel more that I was missing it. Yardages were 15-20 yards mostly. I didn't use the timer much, just wanted to get comfortable with the tools again. I was using all 3 of my M&P's. 9 Pro, 40 Pro and 40 4.25 Discovered some ammo wasn't feeding. I highly suspect I have some short rounds in my .40 stash. One thing for sure, I'm ready to get back out again. Hopefully I will fully be released on 2/21/13.
