  1. 230gr jacketed round nose w/ 4gr Clays out of my 5" Sig 1911 feels great, is very accurate and makes IDPA power factor all day long.
  2. This is the slick setup for the M&P in ESP.
  3. 4 grains of Titegroup, or, 4.1 grains of VV320 are both good loads.
  4. Well 4.4gr of N320 w/ 121 MG IFP at 1.120 oal makes 133pf but my point of impact went up.
  5. So my load worked out to 124.5 PF I'll bump up the powder a bit and try to keep the power factor between 130 & 135. I have a bunch of VV n320 that I'm going to test out some loads this weekend.
  6. I do every once in a while. I bought a crono yesterday so I can check my loads on my own but thanks for the offer. BTW Del Norte has quite a shotgun range if you're ever interested in checking it out I'd be happy to show you around.
  7. Thanks very much. I shoot IDPA at Del Norte, come shoot with us 3rd Sunday of every month 8:00am.
  8. I'm trying a new load that I like a lot but haven't been able to crono yet. 121gr Montana Gold IFP 4gr Tite Group 1.120 OAL Winchester SPP 6000ft elevation in New Mexico shooting a M&P9L this load feels great and is quite accurate. Any thoughts on Power Factor?
  9. Ordered mine in early march and just got them yesterday. (90 second install and away we go!) works as advertised.
  10. Greg Cote for great service and prices.
  11. If the Sig is going to sit in the dark why not sell it so someone else can enjoy it. My Sigs are getting lonely since I started getting M&P's.
  12. What oal are you loading those 147 Precision moly's to?
  13. I use Precision moly bullets along with N320. I load 3.1 under the 147 and got a power factor of 133 out of my stock G34 this past weekend. I would think that this formula would produce similar results. What oal are you running? I've been loading to 1.140 for my M&P9's with Power Pistol.
  14. I just got 1000 rounds of 147gr Precision hard cast lead fp's. I want to work up a load that will make minor power factor out of a S&W M&P9 w/ VV N-320 and Federal SP primers. It seems that N-320 data is for 124gr and lower weight bullets. Anybody using this combo and how do you like it?
  15. I have a Sig P229 22lr conversion kit that works great as long as you use good quality high velocity ammo.
  16. So I have some Precision 147gr. and some vv320, Federal spp's and I'll be shooting them out of my M&P9 FS and 9L. I'm thinking of starting at 3.4gr of vv320 at 1.140 oal. Suggestions?

    Slide Lock Problems

The only times I've had that happen with my P226's is with my thumb riding the slide lock or the new 15 round american made Sig factory mags. I have a dozen Mec-Gar factory mags that I've never had a single issue with.
  18. What weight bullets are you guys running in your M&P9's? I've been using 124gr. MG JHP's or Precision 125gr. flat nose lead. Pretty good in my hands but Its almost time to order more......
  19. I run a 17lb main spring and factory recoil spring. No issues to date.
  20. Looking for your favorite 9mm recipes for 125gr lead. I'll be shooting these out of my Sig P226's or my S&W M&P9fs.
  21. I've been using 9mm 125gr. FP Precision bullets for a while now and Monday this week I placed another order with them. This afternoon I went to get my mail and there they were. Great product, prices and service. That and they're made in America! BTW Anyone have a good load for these bullets? I'm using 5gr. of Power Pistol at 1.130 and it shoots great but I'm always looking for a new recipe.
  22. Thanks Eric this load worked very well for me today. (One less excuse when I don't do well) The check's in the mail.
  23. I had one for a while. Very accurate little pistol, easy to shoot with little recoil even with Buffalo Bore carry ammo. If you change the recoil spring out about every 300 rounds you should be fine, they are it's weak link. I don't belive that .380 is enough for self defense.
  24. I love my Sigs and my P6 is one of my all time favorite pistols.
