Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have ran WSF 4.9 grains with a 124 Berry Plated FP bullet and liked it very well. In both my Glock 17 and 26 this was the load to use in for everyday shooting. I did not have a chrono then so no data or power factor info. I was told to try the Berry 147 RN and I have never looked back. I ran out so now I'm shooting BBI 147 moly coated bullets with 4.1 grains of WSF in my KKM barrel with great groups and no snappy recoil. Be Safe, Del
  2. Since I'm at work, all of my reloading data is at home but I started out shooting a Glock 34 with Berry Plated 147 RN bullets with 4.0 to 4.3 of WSF powder. I got the best group with the 4.1 load. I had a power factor of at least 135 and average 940 fps I believe in the factory barrel. I ran out of Berry bullets and lucked into getting some BBI 147 RN moly coated bullets. I got a KKM barrel and started with the same testing procedures/same OAL only to found that same 4.1 grains worked with the moly bullets plus my groups were better than the plated bullets. I like the fact that I can use WSF powder in 9mm and in my 40 S&W also. Be Safe, Del
  3. Is the Grip Force Adaptor legal in the Production Division? I looked in the book at 21. 4 and 22.0 but there was nothing about it. Thanks, Del
  4. Adding the new shooters to the more experienced squad is the best thing to do for any club. I have had the pleasure of shooting with two of the guys who have responded to this post. My first match here in Dayton I was lucky to have Sarge (Kevin) in the group who took the time to help me and others in our squad. This past month, Chris and Micah ran the squad and if you had any questions, they were the first to help you. You can make or break a club by not welcoming the new shooters and I'm glad that our club has these guys leading by example. Del
  5. I only have a Dillon Square Deal press so all my 9mm loads have the coke bottle look. The reloads have functioned every 9mm that I shoot and friends weapons also. There is no coke bottle effect with the 40 or 45 loaded on the same press. Go Figure.
  6. Hello Everyone, I have found out since I joined in June, that this is a very informative site and alot of helpful people if you post a question. I have visited others sites and if you ask a question, all you get is smart remarks. I have not seen this here and its wonderful to see helpful conversations about the shooting sports. I'm a government worker here in Dayton and try to shoot at the Miami Valley Shooting Grounds as long as I have ammo loaded up. I have to reload to keep my shooting fix going so I will be viewing reloading area. Thanks for letting me join you all. Del
