  1. Is the issue the holster body or the locking mechanism?
  2. WxGuy, thanks for the picture! Looks really good!
  3. I am trying to figure out who is already offering holsters for the Walter PDP Steel Frame Match / 4.5". So far ... Daraholsters Redhilltactical Bigdogsteel Who did I miss?
  4. Milling the slide for an optic in production optics seems to be legal now: 19.2 Aftermarket open and optical/electronic sights (see Rules 5.1.3.1 and 5.1.3.2) and mounting plates are permitted, provided their installation and/or adjustment requires no alteration to the handgun other than the milling of the slide in order to facilitate the installation of an optical/electronic sight. Replacement of springs in production and production optics in still not very clear: 19.4 Aftermarket springs are permitted, provided they are in the same configuration as original. For a Glock Gen 5 the DPM spring might be of the "same configuration". Or it might not... Canik SFX Rival S is still not on the production division list.
  5. The handguard is partially polymer ... what else?
  6. MeanArms Compatible with both milspec AR-15 and dedicated pistol-magazine lower receivers MeanArms AR15.com For the lower receiver, because of the Endomag, we started out with milspec AR-15 lowers (and this is how most of our testing was conducted, including full auto). The system is also compatible with dedicated pistol magazine lower receivers. The only caveat is that most of these receivers include a stationary ejector in the lower - this ejector will need to be removed for the Bearing Delay Upper. I wish they would offer a list of lowers that they tested.
  7. Uronen Precision It is out of stock and has been so for quite some time.
  8. Aren’t the rollers for changing headspace and the locking-pieces for changing the resistance it takes to open the action?
  9. Contact Taccom and ask them what lower they do recommend. Just to play it safe.
  10. Start with a Taccom Upper and whatever lower they recommend. Then go from there whatever your needs and budget dictates. taccom signature upper
  11. Hoping for a counter offer from SIG?
  12. The problem might be the lower and not the upper. Do you have access to a different lower?

  14. My guess would be marketing and humor? Mean Arms was showing a roller delayed upper something like two years ago. For some reason they made the decision to change the design. I would love to know why they did so.
  15. Finally found some of the info I was looking for: Mean Arms is teasing with a new upper, this time not using rollers but bearings. Mean Arms "The #9-15 #bearingdelay 9mm upper receiver. Take all the benefits of the MP5: reliability, durability, low recoil and combine with the familiarity of the AR-15 platform. Rollers are obsolete. It’s all ball bearings nowadays. The 9-15 is compatible with a standard milspec AR upper receiver, standard AR charging handles, standard AR handguards, etc. Completely tunable by swapping an internal component for the angle affecting the bearings, the 9-15 works with a standard AR-15 H2 buffer. If you elect to use #meanarms #endomags, the 9-15 is compatible with milspec lower receivers OR you can use dedicated pistol magazine lower receiver COMING SOON Q3 2022" Better pictures and an estimated price for upper can be found here: thetruthaboutguns.com US$ 1450.- If Mean Arms is actually making these uppers, will sell them for less than 1500.- and they do work with the lower I already have, that would be a really nice option. Wouldn't it be nice if Mean Arms would consider PCC shooters potential customers? I really do not see me buying a JP-5 or a Sig MPX anytime soon... to much money for my skills and budget.
  16. Brekke Custom PCC euro comp Light weight, easy to clean, ... I am using it on a 8" barrel.
  17. Now that Shot Show is over, will 2022 bring any new PCCs? Any that are useful for competition? JP-5 should be comming soon, 3300.- and up. LMT MARS L-9 shoud be available in August for 2800.-. Angstad Arms MDP-9, not for competition. TTI has a new pcc ... Nothing new from SIG. Anything else?
  18. Where can I get a JP-5 for the price of a MPX?
  19. Is there a reason not to use a JP trigger in a JP rifle?
  20. Maybe the better question should be: Is it better than the SIG MPX with less maintenance? Will there be other companies who will try to do the same thing for a lower price? If so, when?
  21. I have a HE515G and the tube does feel narrow. I do prefer the 512. The only bad thing with the 512 is the integral mount. If you want to get the sight any higher you need to use a riser and it might get a little to high. Instead of the HS515G you might have a look at the HE530: 30mm tube and T1 mount. It is also is bigger, heavier and more expensive, being part of the holosun elite line. The 510 is like the standard in Europe and if you do not expect to shoot in bad weather, there is nothing wrong with it. If you want to go as light as possible: Trijicon SRO or Sig Romeo3Max.
  22. What kind of ammunition do you intend to use? If you are going to use factory ammunition option 2 might be the better choice. If you reload 115 gr ammo with PF 130-135 option 1 should be better.
