Different rule book = different sport. Ask a European and an American to meet you for some football and they'll show up with different gear and expectations. If in America, common sense would hopefully indicate to the European that you mean American football and vice-versa. Names have meaning so we should call it what it is like it or not.

I have a stock Edge that has run 100% straight out of the box. Figured I'd shoot it a year before deciding if I want to do anything to it. Finish is worn to heck but I kinda like the worn look. So far I see no reason to do anything woth it. Maybe hard chrome or something but thats it. Best money I've spent since is tuned mags. They've made a big difference. I had sticker shock until the first couple matches where I quickly realized the extra rounds are worth it.

I started shooting SC with my son (12 at the time) using a Ranger II 9mm. Loaded low power factor and it was a great steel gun. No mods, just stock. Looking back, the only thing I would do different is change the recoilmaster for flgr. I agree, never a situation in steel challenge that erquired a magwell. I did add an SA magwell when I started shooting USPSA with it. If you really want one, go with the dawson, you will like it.

Same for me as post 6 & 7. IQMetals/HSM Custom Bullets Plated HP 180's. Shipped in just a couple days. They look great. Will be trying them out this weekend.

FLGR , 13#wolff spring , 5.1 n320 under 180gr HP Montana gold at 1.185OAL. Feels like I can track the sight better, feels flatter.

They are good to go...no problems.
