After an awesome day on the range I was lucky enough to walk away with all the brass I could pick up. Its all military brass 9mm / 223 / 308 / and some 50 BMG. So I know I need to swage the the primer pockets on the rifle brass but do I need to do it on the 9mm? Any help would be a great help. Thanks in advance.

Ok i have a question? being an excel nerd ( self proclaimed) is the gr weight with or without the primer (primer in or de-primed)

Update... adjusted my bell setting and ran another 10 rounds. No issues to report. Thanks again for all the help

Ok guys here we go. I have been reloading for a few years on a LEE Classic Turret Press and stepped my game up to the Dillon XL 650. I haven't run a full run yet just getting things set up. I have been wanting to work up a load for my Glock 35 so I started at the start load and was going to load up to the max in 10 round increments. After loading the first ten rounds I noticed 2 round that appeared to have the bullet coating rolled up. ( see attached picture) Does anyone know what causes this. Could it be not enough flare on the shell when I go to set the bullet? Any help would be appreciated.

Running a new Dillon 650 looking to load for 9mm, .40 cal, and 45 ACP. I'd like find a powder that i could use with all these calibers. Ill be using standard bullet weights 115gr, 180gr, and 230gr respectively. hopefully you guys on here have had experience with this. thanks for the help.

I have to agree. I have talked to my local PD as well as county and state officails for every state I've lived in (military guy) and everything I have been told is that reloading self defense rounds is never a good idea as FightFireJay said above. If you ever had to defend yourself and you used hand load and went to court the prosecution would have a field day (my opinion). Look at the Travon Martin case, image how much worse it would be if he was a reloader and he hand loaded his self defense rounds. Just a thought.

I have found a few clubs about 80 miles average from Lancaster. Not to bad as I drive 132 miles to Tallahasse one way to shoot a monthly match. I'm coming out of Eglin. I was a Emergency Manager (chem bio) but I went to school down here and now I'm an EOD Tech.
