  1. I have to give Mike at Accurate Iron a plug. I had him do two M2 for me. One for a friend, and one for myself. They have both ran flawless with everything I put through them. The work was second to none. I think any of the guys mentioned would build you a good shotgun, but I can happly recommend Mike and his work. Any I have done in the future will go to him. I included some pictures of mine.

  2. I would say that division class names are just names and nothing more. The idea behind what is a tactial rifle evolves from what was allowed on the rifle. If we start to see detachable mag fed shotguns receive broad acceptance by LE and the military, I would think we might see some matches change equipment rules.

    Amen.

I can shoot a round, drop a magazine, insert a new one, cock the gun and fire another shot faster than pros fan fire their guns, individually load 8-10 rounds and fire another shot. That doesn't make me anything special but it does show how obsolete the tube-fed shotgun is becoming.

What is Fan Fire ? Don't know that I have heard that term.

  3. I have bought three holsters from him the last is a IDPA LEGAL holster. Not sure if Steve J. maybe is speaking of his older model. He has modified the new holster to comply. All his stuff is great, hard to beat his holsters. I would have to say if your in a hurry he may not be the best way to go.

  4. Hi JL,

just small things, more related to streamlining production and assembly than function on the range, that has not changed much from the first samples...

We continue to improve the product as we go - and several small refinements have been made during the past year to keep improving it, many based on customer feedback on this forum and others. we just got in a new production of parts, which include many small improvements, for instance:

    1. the new safeties will prevent much of the movement up which was still possible when safety was on in earlier models.

    2. the ball joint socket has been modified to allow more range of movement downwards - almost an extra full inch, and that without lengthening the rod at all.

    3. the tension screw head has been made a little smaller, and the OAL a little longer, so it is less lightly to come out even when left loose

    4. a bunch of small refinements to make assembly easier and faster.

Great to read all the positive reviews - thanks for that,

    saul

    Saul,

Is it possible to upgrade the ball socket on my current holster or do you have to buy all new ?

  5. Oakley makes others in addition to M Frames, if bulk is a problem try Half Jackets. Or if you have a smaller face they make what they call Asian fit that are sized down. I have nothing against Rudy's they seem to be a good company, but for lens clarity and choices hands down Oakley is the way to go. I have been wearing the new Radars and love them. I ride my bike in the new Jaw Bones don't shoot in them because I don't like the frame below the eye for shooting.
