I've always run a 5" m&p9L with 147gr bayou, 3.2gr n320 at 1.125 OAL and it's been a good load for me (134 pf). I recently picked up a 4.25" M&P and I was wondering how the shorter barrel length will change the velocity?

Was wondering what everyone had and requesting some pics. I've got the +4 w/XL cap that gives me 9+1 but i'd like to get more capacity. Any cons of running a +8 with the tube way out past the barrel?

I took a file to the one way screw to deepen the slot until I could get a regular screw driver on it. It ruins the plastic safety but since you're replacing it that shouldn't matter.

Players
Vortex Viper 1x4 HS $441
Burris MTAC $317

Back to the eblestock, does anyone use an other scabbard other than the standard SG scabbard? I see they offer a few other scabbards.
I've got the scoped rifle scabbard on the side of mine for my shotgun.
I have one too and am wondering how everybody is attaching theirs to the packs?
Any pics????????
there are a couple clips and a strap on it that I hooked to the molle on the side of the pack then I wrapped the straps that go around the pack around the scabbard.

Barry, your critical comments are spot on- for the Gunslinger. Eberlestock makes about a dozen different packs, some of which are good for 3 gun and some are poor. Your negative experience w/ the Gunslinger may help someone else from assuming because it's an Eberlestock it's what they want- when they need to actually look closer at which model suits their needs.
The GSII is a good pack, but I think the Phantom is probably a GREAT 3 gun pack. It has more internal dividers and pockets.
Midway is the only 3 gun supporter that I know of that carries these packs. I thought CPWSA may, but checking Chris' site I couldn't find them.
The Operator is a good pack and seems to be the same as the Phantom without the detachable rifle scabbard.

any forged upper recommendations?

Looking for thoughts and opinions on the Vltor Mur, TKS and Rainier Arms ultra match. Anyone have experience with these?
I ran across a thread similar to this from 2009 but it was more of a debate about 6061 vs 7075 and a sales pitch for the JP CTR and Firebird billet upper.
**looks like the Vltor is forged and not billet...my bad

My little man version should be here Friday!
I'd like some more info on the "little man" version. I've got the regular one but I think a smaller one would work better for me.

I don't yet but maybe planning to. My gunsmith went to a show and saw them, said they look good and the price is unbeatable.
I'm in the same boat and I agree on the price being unbeatable.

anyone running one of these?

Me too. Got a like-new 930 combo with a 28" VR and a 24" rifled slug barrel on Gunbroker for $375. Picking out the Nordic parts now. Promod, is Nordic making a Mossberg follower now, the teflon ones won't work on them I hear. They are supposed to be making one for Mossbergs soon. Just have to decide if I want the factory 24" VR or cut the 28" one down.
the nordic follower works in mine

Anybody have pictures of the Otto Rig?

The format last year was better in my opinion. I rather see more people shooting stages than see Mike Voigt and the girl that got kicked off top shot go on a date.

I know it's not popular around here but i practice loading with the rounds i shoot in the match. Just keep the safety on, don't chamber a round and keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

I'm looking for a 2011 doublestack but I'm not finding much available? I'm new to the airsoft pistols...any recommendations?

I'm in the same boat (have an M&P and no m&P airsoft are available) and wonder if a 1911 would actually be better. The M&P 9L I have is a 5" gun and I have the Apex FSS trigger which is similar to a 1911 trigger. The sigma is probably a 4" gun and has a long crappy trigger (just guessing since I've never see one). Weight, feel in my hand and controls would be different but the 5" sight radius and shorter trigger seem like they would better represent my gun. Mainly my airsoft practice would be for target transition and movement into and out of a box more than anything. My dryfire practice would cover the draw. thoughts?
