Yes, price of all metals has been going up including lead, brass and copper. Not sure why, I am not an ecomnomist. I do know that a friend of mine that deals with steel products has told me the Chinese are buying up metals of all kinds. Is that causing our shortage here? Not sure, but bullet prices have gone up and supplies have been harder to get. TXAG

My P16 has a 3lb. trigger that is still factory. Just a little adjustment and it has been great. TXAG

I am a user, love it, don't know how I did without. Makes pretty, consistant, accurate, and by the way accurate ammo. Highly recommended. TXAG

DON'T GET A LEE PRESS OF ANY KIND! At minimum get a 550. I own 2 and love them. I haven't loaded on a 650 so I can't comment on it. Just don't get a LEE! You will be sorry! TXAG

babbling twit and dumba$$? You guys ever RO? It is a thankless job. I will ask the shooter if they understand the course of fire and at larger matches first thing I will ask is your name. I don't know you? God's gift to shooting(GM, M) or not I probably dont know you!? Does the RO staff even have the right score sheet, if we are scoring Bubba and Gump is shooting that is gonna cause problems and delays later. After the formal introductions are over then you will get the standard USPSA range commands(in English). I promise not to take up much of you guy's prep time. Give RO's a break, without them you wouldn't have an organized, smooth running match ever. If you are an RO, help the others to become better. Name calling will get you nowhere. Boy do I have a "whole lot of experience" with this recently. The Dillon bell die for my 40 conversion was expanding my sized cases back out to the point that the crimp was the only thing holding my bullet. My bell die was measuring .398 and my bullets were .399-.400. I swapped out the die for a smaller one from my other press that measured .395. Now the bullet won't budge. I just use the Lee FCD to smooth out the bell. Case measures .420 at mouth when done. I had my Lee FCD opened up a couple of thousands so that it doesn't undersize the round just irons out any rough spots. Turns out beautiful and accurate rounds. TXAG

Shot my first shotgun stage today. It was great. I finished 4th of 20 or so. Gonna have to start doing this more often. Maybe even 3-gun all together. TXAG

I know the feeling. I spread myself thin all around. When I have time to practice I don't feel like it. I want to get better but just don't have the time. I will go shoot a match knowing that I am not in the right frame of mind to do well. I am not a bad shooter but lately I have been doing horribly for some reason. Lowes or Home Depot have these sheets of really rough tape. It is the stuff you put on steps outside to prevent slipping. It is very heavily textured but not uncomfortable. Lasts foever and sticks very well. Easy to cut with scissors. TXAG.

Just a guess, but the staff and ROs shoot the first and the rest of the competitiors shoot the other two? 3rd says ROs, so wouldn't this be a two day match for all but staff? TXAG PS should read a little closer, 3-6. Is a three day match. Couldn't swing that. Wish I could be there.
