  1. I have quit going to my beloved Aggie games because ticket prices have gone through the roof. $75 to see a 3 hour event? That is a so-so seat. I can watch most of them on TV so I have quit going unless I manage a couple of freebie tickets.

  2. Guys, I have recently lost my interest in shooting competitively. What is wrong with me. I live for this sh!t! I don't know why, or how this came about but it did. Maybe I just got burned out. I am not that good of a shooter, I just enjoyed shooting. I have been an RO, club officer and helped with other club matches and loved doing it. Now, I don't even get the itch to shoot. Hunting season is here and I live for that. Maybe that has something to do with it. All I know is the guns are going up for now. When will I get the urge to shoot again. I don't know. Maybe I just need a break. For now...keep the matches going and enjoy what you love. I am going hunting. Maybe next year. TXAG

  3. I can tell you that the clamp changes impact of slugs. Little to tight, one point, looser, another point. Not on at all, different point of impact. I now put my clamp in the same place every time and hand tighten it. My extension sticks out 4" past my barrel. :P Looks kinda funny. I just put some skate board tape on the tube to prevent blasting the finish off of it.

  4. Why doesn't someone clue in Benelli to this. They must took a beautiful gun (M1) and made it ugly in the name of reduced recoil. That trigger guard, funny rubber stuff in butt stock. Funky looking recoil pad. If a lightened bolt would do all what all that did without changing cosmetics, I am all for it.

  5. I think my comp works great. I shot two "almost identicle" rifles w/ 20" barrels. Mine with Benny Comp and the other with a standard bird cage. Hosing at 20-30 yds was like night and day. Huge difference. I never noticed anything hindering my target view.

  6. I own 4 bows, all but one have "training wheels". There is nothing wrong with training wheels, it is all about what you are into. I shoot one recurve for bow fishing. It does well for that. I shoot a Mathews MQ1 for hunting. I will take a compound any day for hunting big game. Yes, there are many gimmecks in archery. Everyone has a better mouse trap. I shoot the basics. I don't have anything fancy or complicated. I do shoot carbon arrows. They are more durable, faster and have better penetration than aluminum. This is a very good forum for archery questions. www.texasbowhunter.com That is another sight I have out on alot. Good bunch of guys.

  7. Yes, Ziegen Bock is only brewed and sold in Texas. Buy all of it...please. It is horrible. If you want a better Bock. Buy Shiner Bock. I don't know what they were thinking when they brewed Ziegen...bad beer, bad.

  8. M1, or M2 if you think the new recoil reduction system on them would be better. Benny seems to like his new M2. I like M1 just fine. I have the 18.5" barrel with rifle sights. 21" might be better, but I will stick with what I have for now.
