  1. XSRDX, I don't care for the P90. It is to small and the controls weren't to my liking. It is fun to shoot though. I don't care for that odd little sight that keeps your head plastered to the top of the weapon. Now the integraly supressed MP5 was really cool. Second on my list was the Micro Galeil(?). The M2 is an excellent weapon but doesn't fit in a safe very well. TXAG
  2. TG all the way in .40 For the 185 Precision bullet, I shoot 4.4 of TG. That is the only data I have for that bullet. TXAG
  3. Saw nothing wrong with the article...no competitor's bags mentioned by name. I do believe that any publication that takes money for advertising will never have a bad review of a product seen in their publication. Not good to slam a product that is bringing in revenue. If you have no affiliation with the product then I don't see a problem. If you are being sponsored by them in any way then the review will seem slanted no matter what. Just remember, you can't please everyone all the time. TXAG
  4. If the CD/M5 isn't any better than the single stack CD's I would avoid them like the plague. I have seen to many CD's take way to much $$$ to run right. Not a bargain if you have to spend more than it cost to make it run. I have heard good things about the KZ but I have to be able to take mine apart. Nothing is ever the way I want it from the factory. TXAG
  5. All I have to say is that is some good video editing. TXAG
  6. Dug this up from the last time I posted it. I went "FULL AUTO" again today! It was once again GREAT. I got to shoot everything that I missed out on last time. I got to shoot an M2. I would not want to be anywhere near the business end of that one. Shot the M60, mini Uzi, a Sig sub- machine gun(?), AK, supressed MP5, Thompson and a shorty 1919 that was louder than the M2. Once again, I had a blast. I highly recommend the experience if you ever have the opportunity. TXAG
  7. Welcome to BE.com Enjoy the wealth of information that you will find here. The more you learn the more you will have to contribute. TXAG
  8. Well said! Bravo! Sam in '08 TXAG
  9. Tightloop, not saying that you are old, but older than I and this is something I have seen in the 20-30 yrs. old range. I am still single and socialize with this group frequently. It is my understanding that we are talking about women in serious relationships, not marrried? Is this correct? To me there is committed and there is married. I take either very seriously, but marriage is a whole new ball game. So, if we are talking non-married women, I find that many will flirt and "act interested". To the point in many cases you wouldn't know they had a significant other of any kind. Maybe it is just the local college women and it is an isolated incident? Who knows. We are still talking about women and they are all different and still strange to me. Will never understand them. TXAG
  10. I have found that if you be forward and just ask they will tell you. If they are in a serious relationship, they shouldn't be acting intersted and flirting anyway. But... we are talking about women here. I have noticed that no matter how committed they are...when the cat is away the mouse will play. I don't know why, I have just seen it countless times. TXAG
  11. I am guessing it is "in the white". Try some steel wool and a light oil. Buff away. But, if they are gonna finish it don't worry. They will have to stip any finish or surface rust first. TXAG
  12. I have shot 1911's and Glocks for years. I can't ever remember being "bitten" by a slide. Being used in production doesn't help, since no external mods allowed. You could build up the grip to slightly lower your grip. Unless you were kicking everyones butts in matches i doubt anyone would say much. Don't try it at a major match. Over time you could ween yourself from it as memory will have taken over your grip. TXAG
  13. Ahhhh, up in my old neck of the woods. Have a safe trip home when ever that might be. Will catch you in Buffalo soon! TXAG
  14. Start them in College Station(probably the most conservative city in Texas) first. They could just skip the rest of the destinations. Guess that would make for a very short show. Have them "try" to finish here! TXAG
  15. Merlin, nice picture. That range looks familiar. You shooting oiur match this weekend with the rest of the Buffalo bunch. They are suppose to show up. TXAG
  16. Nice rifle. One question. Why the expensive rifle, rings and bases and "less expensive glass"? TXAG
  17. The sight is over ten years old. I would expect "freebies" for a fairly new sight but I was expecting nothing for a ten year old sight. I just liked the fact that they will take back the old one and give me about $100 off a new one. I thought the OKO's were crap!? Maybe I was thinking of something else. TXAG

    Mouse joke

You think the mice are bad in TX. You ought to see the rats! TXAG
  19. Don't lie, be trueful. "You are ugly!" They normally won't bother you any more. TXAG
  20. Tech at Cmore said they could fix it for around $90 or I could just trade it in on a brand new one for $140. I think I will trade it in. Problem is it is a borrowed gun and not mine to want to drop $140 into. I may end up buying it but won't do anything to it until then. TXAG
  21. Why doesn't Remington chamber the larger calibers in the Light Varmint Rifle? That would be great for a manual rifle. 260 or 7mm08 to me would be ideal. TXAG
  22. Try four years of college with a BS and being over or under qualified for everything I applied for! WTF? I tried for two years and finally gave up. I am now a licened electrician and make $5000/yr more than any of my college buddies who stuck it out and found a job in our field. College was the best wasted money I ever spent. TXAG
  23. I had a salesman tell me that $500 wasn't enough to haggle over. I really wanted to buy local but he wouldn't budge. I told him he was right and to just give me $500 out of his pocket and sign me up. He didn't think that was very funny! I had a very pleasant last buy. I was really wanting an ex-cab Siverado, had a 2000 reg-cab. Dealers were trying to screw me on trade. DON'T FALL FOR THE "WE WILL PAY OFF YOUR OLD NOTE" crap. Know what your trade is worth and don't budge more than couple hundred off price. They tried to screw me out of almost $2500 (Owed vs. trade value). I walked out and did the rest of my dealing by phone or web. Found the truck I wanted online semi-local and $7000 off window sticker. Financed on my terms. They even gave me an estimate on my trade from a description of my vehicle. They said that I could not hold them to it until they saw it but that was fine with me. They stuck to it and I had a new truck in less than an hour. They even helped me remove my tool box and put it in the new one. I will deal with them when needed in the future. Oh, when you give them your keys, make sure it is a sinlge key that you could afford to leave at the dealership! That really pisses them off. TXAG
  24. Hoppes #9, Rem oil and Slide Glide. TXAG
