  1. White oak barrels are some of the bet shooters out there, for a very fair price. I ran 110 rounds through my rifle in around 2 minutes at iron man last year on the long range stage. All the while making hits on 15 1 MOA targets
  2. If your standing around this long you're doing it wrong. You should be engaging other targets at the same time. 3-4 fast hits on the top followed by 3-4 on the bottom with a 40 major and you will have it over in just over 2 seconds.
  3. Well said chuck, I share the same position on this topic.
  4. Let's just say some of us will get really good at rifle mag changes.
  5. Looks Like Limited 10 is going to start gaining in popularity.
  6. Are there any PCC lowers that work with the JP 9mm upper?
  7. Order off amazon, it's way faster than direct
  8. What's the heavy bag going to weight this year. Also any ammo restrictions on shot size for shotgun
  9. It occurred to me after a testing session yesterday, that you don't need a lot of space to practice your long range game. No matter what level your at, you can shoot groups at 50 yds and get a lot of feedback. Analyze your groups in terms of MOA. At 50, your goal should be to make the bullets go in the same hole. If your shooting 1" groups at 50, that equals an 8" group at 400 which can make it pretty hard to hit a 10" at 400.
  10. Rifle Spinner through hard cover, you are an evil, evil man.....
  11. I tried a case for a lower cost slug to use at local matches and found them very accurate out of my versamax, which already has a horriblely leaded up barrel. Try them in your gun, you might be pleasantly surprised
  12. I'm pretty sure that hello kitty socks would deliver an overall match win
  13. Just buy another gun, that way you a true backup. Understanding it costs more, there are plenty of guys who shoot 40'in 3 gun.
  14. I really struggled with a couple small shop vacs early on, I had several where the chips would get stuck in the transition from the hose to the chamber. I finally found this one at Home Depot and have been very happy with it. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Stinger-2-5-gal-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-WD2025/100021998 Also I got smart and bought enough pool hose and connectors that allowed me to run the hose through the wall of my garage, allowing me to put the vacuum outside when processing brass. So I don't have to wear ear protection any more.
  15. The answer is easy the work is not, if you want to get better at memory stages, practice them, set-up a stage in your house, walk it and visualize it until you have it perfect then. Then do it again another 10,000 times, but make sure to practice it perfectly, so as not to develop any bad habits.
  16. Personally I thinkFP-10 is far superior to weapon shield, but to each their own
  17. After working on my shotgun I set it in the corner of the kitchen to wash my hands, after turning around I heard a big crash, and see my shotgun on the floor. Sure enough it fell at just the right angle to break off the front sight and smash the midbead into the rib. Really wish that didn't happen
  18. I ordered from these guys, good price and reasonable shipping. http://www.therockshed.com/grit1.html
  19. How much did you apply? Did you just put a bead or two on the nut? Or did you cover the entire nut with it? Or? Don't want to put too much to where I can't break it. Don't want to put too little to where it comes loose. Thanks. I coated the whole nut, and I highly doubt it would ever come loose, but that's what I was shooting for
  20. I have used this for that exact application and it has worked well Devcon S 31 2 Ton Epoxy
  21. Something to keep in mind is that Saint George is on mountain time I believe
  22. Stages are posted, much lower round counts than I expected. https://southernutahpracticalshootingrange.com/hard-as-hell/
