1. I have 2 of the 92X Defensive pistols that I use in IDPA and USPSA. I am very happy with the pistols, but did up putting a small shim under the extractor spring. I used a 2mm flat washer that fit perfect. Both my slides are difficult to remove, but work butter smooth during normal operation. I have had no issues at all since putting the shim under the extractor spring.
2. Thanks. I just ordered some. I appreciate your input.
3. Thank you. I will check that out.
4. Does anybody know what size replacement fiber is needed for the 92X Performance or Defensive? I called Beretta, but they just wanted to sell me a new sight. thanks
5. Strange that neither the CSO or MD could answer the question. The CSO is extremely qualified. The way I understood that stage was you didn't have to take all the magazines with you. But once the shooter picked up the magazine and discarded it, he earned a PE by rule 3.4.7.
6. Thanks guys. I will have to try a couple of these options and see what works best for me. I currently use the slingshot method, but want to try D and see if that is any quicker.
7. Left-handed shooters - how do you perform a slide release for the most speed? So far, it appears racking the slide seems to be the only method without totally messing up your grip.
8. The Micrometer kit from uniqueTek are great. They are not the same as the cheap knobs you put on the screw. The knobs give you a handle so you don't need to use a wrench. The Micrometer kit gives you very accurate and consistent drops.
9. While they don't actually list your points, they have started adding the Tier level to each match in your "my score and classifications" section. So at least now we don't have to do a lot of searches to determine what level a match was - just a little math.
10. FF423 .. Are you going to Arizona match?
11. Registration for the 2014 Florida State IDPA Championship will open December 15th at 12:01AM. The match is sponsored by the Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club in Palm Bay, FL. More information is available at our site - www.pmrpcidpa.com. This 2-day event will include 12 stages with a minimum round count of 150. Registration is being handled by MatchSignUp.com.
12. I use CCI exclusively and have never had a problem. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
13. I ended up using a large Pelican case setup to hold 2 pistols, holster, magazine holders, ear protection, glasses, and 300 rounds of ammo.

Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

14. I use the 4.5 as my carry gun. The only reason I didn't go to a 3.8 was because besides slide length, the gun is exactly the same. So it is shorter but with the same frame so I figured the 4.5 was more beneficial. Edit: this is not a slam on the PRP trigger - I like them and have installed on most of my XDM's. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4 I have heard this but since the PRP trigger kit is all OEM parts I thought there wouldn't be an issue with this? Maybe? I may just be completely off and thinking of an entirely different issue too though :-P Unfortunately, while I agree with you, there is a pretty big debate on the idpa forums about the PRP trigger. We are waiting for headquarters to actually reply and let us know what the decision is. Which forum? Do you have a link to the thread? http://idpaforum.yuku.com/topic/10753/Powder-river-trigger-for-xdm#.UjCv7cvD9Ag Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
15. The XDM is currently in ESP which allows this change. Even in the new rule book it is OK for ESP, but not SSP. I shoot ESP so don't have a problem.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4

18. I have both and recommend the 5.25. I believe the adjustable rear sight and front fiber is worth the extra cost.

Also, until IDPA rules on the PRP trigger, I would not use their trigger kit if you want to shoot SSP. There is debate if it is legal.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4

19. I normally shoot ESP because I use the Xdm. I am also classified in CDP. With the new rules I will classify in SSP. I still plan to stay in ESP and that is what I will be for the GA State match. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
20. That was how it is enforced under the current rule book, but is changing October 1st. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
21. 1- if you run empty in the open, you can reload while moving to cover 2- if you do a reload behind cover, you must do it flat footed and not move until reload is complete. Short answer, for more information you need the rule book. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
22. Was this Titegroup or bullseye? You mentioned both. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
23. I made one for my SDB using some cheap parts from the local hardware store. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
24. Might not sound correct, but rule 8.6.1.2 says loading devices may not be placed in chest pockets. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
25. I believe that Stowing is allowed in vest, but not the upper chest pockets. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 4
