  1. I appreciate the feed back. just curios, with the way the Holosuns mount has anyone milled the slide so an adapter plate is not required or is that even possible?
  2. I'm building a carry optics gun out of a Glock 45 and want to use a Holosun optics sight. Go ahead and get the 508t or wait and pay $50 more for the 509t? Or am I running down the wrong road and should get an SRO?
  3. Just a little follow up on this post. After reading all the post about how AET barrels don't like plated bullets I went to the range and did a little more testing. I agree, at 20 or so feet with the major load above I could barely keep the group inside a paper plate. I switched over to some old Montana gold loads I had, the group drop to less than 2 inchs (10 rounds one big hole). At minor power loads the groups were around 3-4 inches. I also shot some old Rainer loads and they grouped even worse than the X-tremes. I guess my take home point, if you spent the money on a AET barrel buy jacketed ammo.
  4. I don't have a lot of experience with different powders, it is far from the N 320 I'm used too. I used tite group for a while and that would be the closest I've used to Nitro 100 NF. I was a little nervous about how little I needed but so far after about a 1000 rounds of 45 I have not really noticed a pressure different while shooting, pretty consistent round to round. Seems to shoot pretty clean but it does leave a little soot around the end of the barrel like tite group Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Just some FYI data, I was out of powder and found some Nitro 100 NF so I took a chance and this is what I found.
