  1. Same here. Use Wilson 47de with my .40 SS. They run.
  2. I've never had an issue with my 90* mount. But then again , that's all I've ever used. Also the parallax is a lot less with the 90* mount on close targets. I tried a standard mount for a bit and could not get used to the index, right off the bat at least. I'm going to say it's all preference.
  3. Thank you kneelingatlas!! Once you showed me where, easy peezy! Just took a bit off the sharp corner of the peanut and a little of the flat surface and now locks up smoothly. Even letting it go really slow, it still locks right up!!!! Much appreciated!!
  4. Peanut being the inside of the barrel lug? or the outside? The barrel looks to lock up snuggly and as high as my .40 top end
  5. I picked up a .40 stock 2 and also had the oportunity to buy a 9mm conversion. I put the 9mm conversion on and it went on fine. When I put the slide stop back in it gets "stuck." I can get it to slide back with effort. Once back it moves freely. but as it comes back to battery it gets stuck again. Im new the Tanfos and not sure if its something that needs "fitting" or if there are caliber specific slide stops. If anyone has had similar issues any help would be appreciated.
  6. I've been shooting open for the past 1.5 yrs and supercomp brass is pretty hard to come by. I had been marking my brass with a manual marker which makes it 100x easier to spot after shooting a stage or in practice. A local guy came up with this and I bought one to try. http://www.mrshooter.com/mrshooterbrassmarker.html I can pretty much mark all my brass for a match and practice and not have black/red fingers from the pens. It's super fast and makes marking a lot easier. I'm not affiliated with him and don't get anything from this but just wanted to share what works for me. It's definitely payed itself off by the brass I've saved.
  7. I've tried both in my .38super open gun. They both shoot just fine and have very comparible accuracy. I did however find every once in a while the 125's would not feed as easily. They would hit the bottom of the feed ramp and get stuck. So I used the remainder I had in my M&P and stick with the 124's for the open gun.
  8. Ordered some and took exactly 18 weeks. Forgot I had ordered them.
  9. Ive run them in a 2011 .38 SC major and 9mm minor in an M&P without any issues.
  10. All out of 124 JHP cases. Only 1000 packs. Thanks for posting the new link to the site though! Good to see they are back up. Even I the prices did go up again.
  11. I was having the same issue with my loads. It's was the lee sizing die. I changed to it because it went a bit lower than my dillon die. I also used the U die but it "pinched" the bottom of my brass if it had expanded to much. So I ended up grinding the dillon die down to the carbide and works great and no more setback.
  12. I believe ctay is the one who wears the gopro with his hat on regular way. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=155934&st=0&p=1744241&fromsearch=1entry1744241
  13. I personally haven't. There was a guy at area 1 that was wearing it with his hat on regular way. The Hero 2 does let you switch views. I''k try it next time out and see what the angle looks like.
  14. I use the head strap with my go pro. I actually don' t think it gets in the way at all. I just flip my hat around for the run and no issues. I've used it since last December and really like the angle it gives. The chest strap is a bit low. Your arms and gun get more in the way and you cant really see. My .02 Here is a short classifier vid with the head strap and gopro.
  15. Mine is on the right and never had any issues with it being on that side.
  16. I've been using, 125 and 135gr bear creek moly's in my open gun. Accuracy was good and worked well. Big drawback, the comp and gun gets very dirty. I had to clean the comp from lead every 4-500 rounds. Here are my loads I was using. Recommend starting low and working up. N350 7.6gr - 125gr bcm - 1.240" N350 7.3gr - 135gr bcm - 1.240" 172.5pf HS-6 8.2 gr - 125gr bcm - 1.240"-167pf , 8.6-172pf This is out of 4.5" AET barrel , brazzo comp and 2 small holes.
  17. Can I please be added to the list for open. OzzieF A69205 Open Thanks!
  18. I second the head mount for the gopro. I've been using it for a while and really like it.
  19. I shot this for thew first time this weekend. Fun stage. Should get bumped to "A" class with this classifier!! 5.68 sec 54/60 points Per CM calc - 86.43%
  20. I used a 180gr Bear Creek Moly @1.135" with 5.3gr of WSF for my .40 load. It made major in my old Glock 35 with LW barrel and made major in my 5" Infinity. With the 185, I'd start at 4.7gr WSF@1.135" and work your way up to 5.3. Maybe increments of .2 4.7 4.9 5.1 5.3 The powder is a little reverse temp sensitive so in summer might be a bit lower than winter. Just adjust for it or shoot a hitter load in winter by about 5pf.
  21. I've had to tighten mine down to the point where it's to much. Then give it another quarter turn. They stay put now with no issues.
