  1. The only person I have is the person I bought the kit from and he asssures me that if I am careful I can work a load in 9mm major. I have to go slow and check for pressure signs. I wonder if it is possible with a 9mm kkm match supported barrel drop in to do so without throating the chamber. the whole point of the build was to avoid sending anything out to a gunsmith. If I have been misled so be it; I'll just shoot minor loads. I just wanted to have someone's opinion who have this kit or type of setup. I do understand the pressures involved in 9mm major. thanks
  2. I have a glock 17 and I got the jaggerproducts kit. I have been able to shoot factory no problem. A friend of mine gave me some of his 9mm major to try. The first issue was this ammo would not fit into my glock mags. Then I tried to single load one. the slide would not close. Someone told me that I have to throat the chamber to shoot 9mm major. But I am still limitted by the glock mag length... what gives? Bill Jagger says I should be able to work up a major load with the barrel as is ... Is he right? btw I got the kkm match supported barrel (which I am not sure what match supported means) and it is a drop in. Now on that note. I got a ccf slide. The so called drop in barrel from kkm had to be fitted a bit to the slide. Jagger said that this kkm barrels are semi-drop ins... I dunno
  3. Jefe do you mind sharing your load data and oal for your balas. I am working on loads. I have the kkm barrel. thanks
  4. If you mean the scope that's a STS 7 moa C-More sight. If you mean the serrations, that comes with the Glock 17 slide from "CCF" http://www.ccfraceframes.com/slides.html Everything else is from JagerProducts.com. The pistol was originally a Glock 34. If I want to change to limitted all I have to do is swap slides. If I want to shoot production, I swap the slides and remove the magwell. It is that easy. Hey Bob it was great seeing you at the match yesterday. Oh, and by the way that's one nice shooting Open Glock. Likewise Jefe,,, nothing like fighting Evil...

  6. Jefes, I have a glock 34. I wish I had known better, but that's what I have. I'll post images once everything is ready and installed. Question what do you think about the sjc compensator (the 8 port one) and the one you have. I see it only has ports for the gases to go up... The sjc one has ports on the side... Advantage, disadvantage..? thanks
  7. that is awesome... Thank you Jefe. The optic will be ordered by yours truly. All my doubts about this setup are vanished. It is the least troublesome modification I have found and you made the case for me. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. I really do. thanks
  8. I am new and look forward to share my know how and learn more from you folks...
  9. Jefe, I almost bought the jager kit myself. I did buy the barrel and muzzle break as well as the guide rod and spring from Jager. I was debating buying the c-more sts, but I was told that it is difficult to find the red dot during rapid fire. Is this true? and also do you have any pictures to share of your pistola with this sight. thanks
  10. Jefes, I am putting together a open Glock using a Glock 34. I would like to use the sjc optic mount since I already purchased a Ghost Holsters. I can find any videos or instructions on line on how to do this installation which obviously involves drilling holes into the frame. Also lowering the ejection port, I can see someone posted a picture but it is no longer visible. Does anyone has lowered the ports and can you kindly share some pictures.
