  5. on about the 20 to 22nd round I get a double feed ... 2 live rounds want to feed at the same time using the taylor one.... anyone has had this trouble....
  6. I seem to be having an issue. About the 20 to 22nd round I get a double feed. No a FTE, where the spent cartridge stays in the chamber and another tries to load, but instead to live rounds trying load. I am using this basepad... Any ideas
  7. I actually had the pleasure to hold one at my local store. pros: on the cool factor a perfect 10. Trigger pull was smooth. cons: sharp edges, a no go for conceal carry. Also the idead of having the detonation happen so close to the palm and specially shooting finger scares yourstruly. Summary: I think it is an aswer to a question no one is asking.
  8. 7.2 -> 7.4 grains of LongShot 1.145 oal 124 gr Montana Gold jhp (cone like ones... as opposed to the round ones) Federal small pistol primers (yes federal pistol... no issues here, no pierce primers or signs of that,,, no signs of over pressure) Mind you I am using a KKM drop in barrel and a 4 port compensator from carver http://www.bb-enterprise.biz/item177681.ctlg use at your own risk and common sense applies here.... start with 10% less of the minimum and work your way up... but I strongly recomend not to go past the 7.4 grains mark...   9. Waiting all week for a match. Having all your ammo ready. Spending hours of dry firing and practicing reloads... Then seeing all washed away on the day of the match, because of rain or snow.... opprobrious.

  11. Jefes, I have a PC SW 627 V-Comp. I have a plethora of starline 38 SC brass, I just purchased. Can the hearthco moon clips fit my pistola with the overall diameter of 1.254 inch ?.. I am at your mercy... a pinata of thanks in advance
  12. That was about the only negative comment my guys had... not really negative, we all had a great time, but we agreed it would have been even better with regular targets. Another road trip....
