Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I don't remember where I got it but probably on Amazon. I just did a search on Amazon and a whole bunch of different brands popped up. The extra height is quite helpful especially if you ever need to shoot "weak side".
  2. Similar to Joe D., I run a C-More railway (6 MOA) on a 1/2" high riser zeroed at 15 yards. Also a Bushnell mini on a 45 degree mount on the right-hand side for those tight shots around walls. The 45 degree mounted optic is also perfect for close up precision shots (head-shots) without having to compensate your hold over. Good luck.
  3. Correction, the Taccom feed ramp goes on the upper! I'm old, I forget stuff.
  4. https://mygtul.com/press/gtul-glock-magazine-disassembly-tool/ Once I found this mag disassembly kit I haven't had any trouble with the Glock base plates. To me, worth every penny. Back to topic, I had to add a TacCom feed ramp to the lower on my ATI MilSport PCC in order to get it to feed reliably. No feed issues since the install.
  5. I'm running a C-More railway on my PCC. I shoot it nearly every weekend. I change the battery about once a year. This is my experience. Your results may differ.
  6. I'm using a Hogue "over molded" adjustable stock on my PCC. It doesn't grab my beard hairs like all my previous adjustable stocks did.
  7. I've never experienced any unusual bolt/recoil impulses using the Scheel 1st generation RDBS. I have it set up exactly as Corey recommended in the literature and have never felt the need to mess around with it. I'm shooting a 147 grain plated bullet that chronos 150PF from a 16 inch barrel.
  8. I've had my Gen 1 Scheel RDBS in my ATI PCC for almost a year and many thousands of rounds. From day 1 it has been a soft shooting low bounce system. I saw on several posts saying it is difficult or hard to charge. I can't imagine what would cause that issue. I can reach out with my index finger only and fully cycle the charging handle with VERY little effort. It's about the same effort required to charge my AR-22's. I'm using the heavier of the two recoil springs and one heavy and one medium spring in the main buffer device. The rollers in my system spin freely with no wobble or gritty feel. I followed the directions exactly and I couldn't be more pleased that I bought it. My PCC load is a 147 grain plated bullet that chronos at a 150PF.
  9. Steve, Thanks for posting. Its a great video and you shot the match very well. Mal
  10. I saw a lot of good shooters at this match. The RO's were the best. They toiled all day in the sun and heat so we could have a safe and fun match. Thanks to all of them. Did anyone get pictures? I never thought to get my camera out of the truck. Mal
  11. http://www.squaredealipsc.com/ They're not posted yet, but the link is above. Mal
  12. This years match was great. A true test of shooting skill without the "blind alleys" and memory games. Those are fun once in a while, sure. The "Long Range" stage was a bit of a bottle-neck due to the generous time limit. I think this one was one of the best ever. I especially liked shooting the TEXAS Star while prone on a swinging bridge. Keep up the good work. Mal
  13. You'll need 10 forms of ID and a VISA card. Only kidding! It's on West Point's land but not on the campus. You will just drive right to the range driveway via a public road. I'll help you with directions but I need to know the direction from which you will be approaching. What day are you shooting? I'll be there on Saturday. Mal
