  1. hi Ya, from my limited experiences i would buy the best red dot you can afford. "buy the best only cry once". i have a 4.5 MOA on my AR and i find it not so good after 100 yds as it obscures the target.
  2. So I didn’t measure them. However the match barrel bushing is very smooth and very tight. I fired 20 or so rounds. 1/2 factory 1/2 my reloads. Not a huge difference so far. I got called away. More later.
  3. Well I installed the barrel bushing. Nice and tight. Also new fiber optic front sight. All together good. Still need to adjust the two screws on trigger. I’m not doing well on that one as I have to feel the dear and the discombuberstors [emoji848]. Which I can’t. Off to gunny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. hi Ya ZZT, i ordered a new barrel bushing from Cajun Gun Works; i needed a new front f.o. sight anyway. at least that's how i will tell my wife when she sees the 100. bill.
  5. I have two barrels for my Glock. The stock barrel shoots better. Other was bought for the lead issue. My CZ has different issues. I don’t remember which moly coated brands. All seem same to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi Ya, I seem to be getting larger groups now would a new barrel bushing help? CZ75B with 10,000 rounds thru. It has slight barrel wiggle when locked up. Maybe .0001 or 2 maybe. I can’t accurately measure. Much obliged, Max Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hi Ya, CZ barrels are land and groove. G34 are poly; didn’t original poster notice disclaimer on Glocks using lead bullets?
  8. hi, i have had all these problems over the years. often the Dillon tech team would have some input, you can call them. good luck,
  9. my front pocket wallet is Kydex: they seem to want to see it at TSA!
  10. what is over travel? i guess i haven't used my 92FS enough. and what is a bump trigger? something used in LV to kill people?
  11. on my 550 press, i started using Accurate #5. loading 9mm. however i am noticing powder leaks a bit at every throw; whether there is a case in powder station or not. what causes it? much obliged, Max
  12. yipes! i am having trouble with swaging and priming old military FC and LC brass also. but no way i am going to subject myself to the guff Twins got anyway i was able to glean enough from this thread to make it all work. the internet is again my friend.
  13. Again, Dr. doesn't care one way or the other. if he is asked by CDC or OSHA it is only whether this is work related. i sent them packing.
  14. i have a blood test regularly due to high blood pressure etc. so i began almost 10 years ago asking for the lead level test. currently i am at 19 which is high. 0-10 is considered normal. there seems to be two different blood level tests at Quest and one is included in my HMO the other cost $100. get the free one. at 50ug/dL which is micrograms per deciliter of blood. sort of the 'mad hatter' syndrome. be careful!
  15. after the GSSF match: i used the 185gn plated flat nose. one failure to eject. i will up powder to 5gn of Bullseye.
  16. kismet; eureka; ;hallelujah! it was all of those things. got it now. but i think i will shoot the match with the factory barrel on my Glock. it is much more forgiving that the Lone Wolf despite the rifling issue (polygonal vs cut).
  17. the $20 grips i bought were a mistake; they are for an old model CZ75 i guess. so i went to Cajun Gun Works and bought his aluminum grips. they are fine for me, at least here where cold is 60deg.
  18. how do i size down to .470" ? oops, my sizing die wasn't screwed in enough. .
  19. I'm Just back from range; shortening the 200gn Moly's didn't cure the 'failure to go into battery' problem. many of these are not under .473" diameter either i don't know how to thin them down without buying a Lee FCD. Meanwhile Saturday is my GSSF match; i may have to buy some factory 230gn uggh! i reran them thru the Dillon again and shortened to just even with the set back on the shoulder. good thing the range is under 2 miles away and i am a member. still doesn't go into battery every time. these were those that didn't. i have been loading both 185gn plated and 200gn Moly: Plated OAL is 1.167-1.216 and Moly are 1.187 to 1.195" Gun is G21, barrel is Lone Wolf. Next is trip to store for factory load to make match.
  20. the internet is again my friend: i can't wait to try this out later today on the shoulder to head tip. the diameter issue will have to wait for me to get a Carbide FCD die as i don't know another way to get the diameter down?? yes they do size properly. it's more the Moly projectile and probably the head to shoulder length.
  21. They are .983 to get To your number I would have to bury the shoulder [emoji102] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I’ll watch that going forward. I started on my Lee Pro 1000 and then switched to my Dillon 550. I am going to reset dies and continue on the 550. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Difficult to write: too loose shell plate no good either. Just enough to move freely. Then tighten set screw. Does that clarify or make it muddy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. hmm, someone suggested i keep the plate tight enough = as in let them touch the base so as not to cant the bullet being loaded?
