    CZ P07 Duty

It is on the production list
  2. Yes it would but think about what it would do to a pepper popper! Agreed! Great post Cliff, I noticed the History Channel doesn't have chat anymore (at least not for Top Shot) and I figure it was all the losers griping about this and that and how they didn't do it the way that poster thought it should be done. If you don't like the show go watch American Idol or something! BTW Cliff, its my understanding you shoot with my old club from time to time, Tampa Bay Pistol Club. Good bunch there, I moved to Texas in 1997 and miss that crowd. Just ask about the guy that used to shoot a S&W627 in the 5th Sunday matches rather than an open gun with the handloads that where loud and sometimes scorched the targets. A guy once asked me if I used those loads to scare the poppers and plates in to jumping down to the ground so they wouldn't feel the pain! Have fun all!
  3. Should be interesting but if they wanted drama why didn't they recruit Dawson?
  4. Shinny and dry! Like others have said polish the heck out of it! Lots of things folks oil don't need it or they use the wrong oil!
  5. Great replies guys! I showed him this thread and he finally fessed up. A guy he shoots with has a bunch of 9X21 brass and dies and such he wants to sell (for too much!) and the guy tried to tell him he couldn't make the PF safely with a 9X19! Well he is all excited now that he knows he doesn't have to set it up for 9X19. They go to the range on Sunday mornings when I'm at church, I'm tempted to take a Sunday morning off just to tell this guy he is a moron!
  6. Was talking with a coworker who wants to get into shooting IPSC. He has a 9X19 CZ and is talking about making a open gun with it and wants to just rechamber the barrel for 9X21. I told him just shoot it as 9mm Major but he is bent on 9X21 for some reason. So can he rechamber the barrel or should he just get a 9X21 chambered barrel to begin with?
  7. I have seen it done on Glocks, XDs, M&Ps and anything with plastic grips. Joe W. Good deal, I thik I even have some stuff lying around I could practice on, now to figure out what to charge him if I decide to do it.
  8. Got a buddy with a Glock that was talking about wanting to do this, has anyone tried this procedure on a tupperware gun?
  9. Good to see the gun is running right now, I went through a case of this except it was a brother that had the gun. But he didn't know any better and does now. Benny, love the Avatar!
  10. 9X21 in the super comp ..... NO! I know at least with a 38 super its not a good thing. At an area championship somehow somebodies 9X21 got thrown into my ammo bag and this guy used the same bullets I did. I hand checked all my ammo before a match, my best guess was that after picking up the 9X21 loaded with the same bullet somebody thought it was mine and tossed it in my bag Gun locked up big time and cost me a stage!!! Yes I was POed!
  11. HS-6 is WW 540... It's all over the place... I think I'll just have to look into that! The N105 as well. CocoBolo, Nothing wrong with an old school comp that works, this one isn't bad but the softest flatest thing I ever shot was a (OK showing my age again) Jet Comp ... BUT not in the way the made it. I started with a Jet Comp where it had 4 chambers and three ports, the rear chamber had three jet ports in it. Well they erode quickly! So when they started eroding I just stuck it in the vise under the mill and opened it up into a 4 port comp, the rear chamber was big so it made for a big port, but man that thing shot soft and level as you could expect! Thank again guys.
  12. Thanks for the info so far, lots of good stuff. My gun is a dinosaur by todays standards, I run a 3 port EGW comp that I opened the rear port slightly and I have one poppet hole in the barrel (who came up with that name, we always just said we drilled a hole in the darn thing!) I figure I'm going to run above the 165PF because this thing always ran best with a 180PF at sea level, of course I'm at 3300 feet now so it my old loads wouldn't be quite that fast. So for runing a slightly high PF which would you go with?
  13. So people, I need to drag the press out and blow the dust off and reload some 38 super ammo. OK now I'll date myself and how long its been since I competed (kids are now out of the house and the wife has her degree and a good job!) I had been using 130 gr remington jacketed bullets with 9.4 grains of WW 540 & Federal 205s. So I have some 125 gr bullets and was wondering what powder would be a good choice (ya try to find WW 540 now days!)
  14. Went very well, but then again my wife (who I was explaining it to) is a mathematician
  15. I suspect someone would have called foul if he had cocked it back, I haven't shot revolver in years but when I did my guns I had cut the spur off, with experience it is not hard to shoot DA only to stage a wheel gun.
