Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Looks good. I think I'll make a few for myself with the trap idea. The club doesn't have any target stands to use so a few of these in the back of the SUV will be great. Dave
  2. I used to do some 4x4 offroading here in Connecticut. The club I was in had a saying. 'As slow as possible. Fast as necessary'. Slow to keep from tearing up tghe land but sometimes u need a bit extra to maked it through. This thread got me thinking about that but in reverse. 'As fast as possible. Slow as necessary'. Shoot the targets as fast as you can but take enough time to make a good shot.
  3. www.rimfirecentral.com All things 10/22 there. I've allways used the factory mags. I remember people saying to stick with mags that have steel lips on them.
  4. Thanks for time and effort developing this. Best one out of the 3 I've found by far! I am having a few issues however. The start beep is 3 seconds long. Anyway to shorten it up? I also can't close the options screen once I have it open. And finally it has frozen on me a few times. I'm running a motorola blur android. I'm not sure of the software version but the phone says its up to date. Thanks again! Dave P.S. It seems I'm stuck on version 1.5 till T-mobile decides to grace us with an update.
  5. I've had a pellet range of some form or another for many years. Actually time to build a new one. Electrical box with a few inches of ductseal works great. Airsoft is more versatile for most I think. Especially people in appartments etc. I can see a reason to have an accurate blow back pellet gun though. Airsoft with rifled barrel shooting plastic skirted projectiles might get the best of both worlds. I can dream! Lol
  6. Nice. I like the perferated zones.
  7. 40 shots is pretty good. The down side to co2 pellet guns is you can't shoot them inside your house or garage. But, I'm definitely gonna look into it.
  8. I boiled the uncle mike's belt loops in some water and squashed it flat. I like your fix much better.
  9. Thanks all. A great member here made some up for me. Since then I've gotten my own reloading equipment and can make my own now. publik skool! love it! Dave
  10. I bought some of this http://www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/5124/ to use. It's full synthetic. Whatever that means. Says nothing about being silicon though. It's used on paint ball guns. Figured it would work. Was $2 a Dicks Sporting Goods.
  11. Ah yes. I keep forgetting to try some decent bb's. I'm using some crappy wallmart ones. I'll order some today. I'm still interested in the MEU's though. It more closely resembles my Tactical. Thanks Dave
  12. I'm in the market for a single stack myself. I have a hicapa but I'm not pleased with its accuracy. I'm talking 3 to 5 inches at 25 feet or so. What kind of accuracy are you getting from the meu's? Dave
  13. Thanks. I'll see what I can come up with. I should know someone with a press.
  14. I did a quick search but didn't come up with anything. I've got a bunch of spent brass and i'd like to make some dummy rounds for doing dry fire/mag changes with. Anyone ever done this without reloading equipment? Is it as simple as press a bullet in and check the Over all Length? Any ideas would be great. Thanks, Dave
