Does the hyperfire eclipse go through disconnector springs?

What is the expected lifetime(round count) on a hyperfire 24c?
I have a used Sig MPX with an unknown round count, with a 24C. I recently started getting hammer follow. The disconnector spring was smashed so I replaced it. About 200 rounds later I started getting hammer follow again. I reached out to hyperfire over a week ago, but I have not received a response. In the event that I can’t get this one working, should get another 24c or look for something else?

If you can buy in bulk, you can get JHP for basically the same price as plated. Every time I checked, JHP were within fractions of a penny of plated pricing.
In my opinion plated isn’t worth it at the current price point.

I bottom out my press twice on the down stroke. I started doing that because I had primers that would stick to the decapping pin. I founded that it didn’t shake off the primer any better than one bottoming out but my ammo length was much more consistent.
In a same head stamp run I can get +\- .002.

I like n310 for 40. I made major with every match that had a chrono. No pressure signs, no case blow outs.

I can feel when the primer gets pulled back into the case in the swaging station. Typically I can’t get a full stroke.

I haven’t had any issues with mine. The magazines work great, no tuning required other than a base pad for extra capacity.

I find that the Dawson base pads can be very difficult to remove when they are dropped in sand. I have also smashed my finger/thumb between the mag well and Dawson base pad on a reload.
TTI are easier to remove and I have not smashed my finger on a reload yet. However, I have two base pads where the retaining pins aren’t secure. I have lost a few of the retaining pins but replacements are cheap from McMaster Carr.

If you have a SVI metal grip, I think your only option is another SVI mag well. There is a tab at the front of the grip that is different from the STI style. If an STI style mag well will fit, it would probably be a loose fit.

Nereloading has same stamp FC(brass). I have bought this before and it’s good. Out of 6000 cases less than 20 were another stamp. I highly recommend, especially for 9 major.

I let my wet tumbled brass sit for a week before I reload it.

Are the bullets vertical in the case before they are seated? I had an issue where the bullet got gouged on one side during seating. It was counterintuitive but less bell fixed my problems. The bullet should fit snuggly and vertically in the case before seating. It they were loose or leaning I had issues.

I ended up with a batch from another manufacturer that tumbled. The were .399 in diameter and the manufacturer told me that was in spec. I stay away from plated now.

You can do this by hand with a 40/10 case. It’s slow, but I did it while watching tv.

The DLC gun is much smoother, racking the slide, than the blued one. I am curious if I can tell a difference when shooting.

I had bad performance from plated bullets. If you are going to try them, get sample packs.
