lokmup68 what i have done is take up the space between the top of the die and the sir clip, some of my old dillon dies had a spacer in there from factory, my 9mm die tha came with the press did not, i was using a lee die initially and had no priming issues the problems started when i installed the dillon die, unfortunatley i did not realise that this was causing my priming issues for almost 6 months. When the pin pushes out the old primer it raises the decaping pin held by the sir clip up and out of the die body about 2 to 3 mm it then snaps back down once the spent primer is out of the case, just to test my theory i placed a small washer in that gap whilst it was in the fully up position and i could load 100 rounds streight no problem , tace the washer out and instantly had smeared and crushed and missing primers about 2 to 3 in 10. I will get some photoes up today. Cheers.

Ok guys after weeks of fighting with my 1050 priming issues i finaly got it working. I have done and checked all the fixes on all the forums and still had no joy, i hope this helps you people still having no joy. I had to find out at what point in the process the primer was turning sideways or getting smeared or not seating at all and falling on to the bench. Whilst moving the arm slowly and with the white cover off the priming station i observed the primer always correctly seated in the slider bar that transferes the primer from the tube to the case. so it was good there. Then i wached it start to come up on top of the punch and noticed it move sometimes falling off completely or just slightly off to one side resulting in the primer getting smeared, crushed etc, what was causing this was the snap back of the decapping / sizing die, dillons one is spring loaded and as the old primer is pushed out it snaps back and the vibration alone disrupts the primer sitting on top of the primer punch. Believe it or not. simple fix was to place a spacer between the sir clip and die body, problem solved, hope this helps you guys out there, let me know. Cheers Paul

Some one please help me get in contact with the casepro dude. Unable to get cases here in Australia and cant afford to throw them away untill they split. Any info appreciated Regards paul -
Check that your shell plate is not too loose, if it is the plate moves up when the primer punch is trying to seat the primer.

Jerky Marinade Recipe

Brian the way we used to do it in Zimbabwe and Southafrica even in summer . Always use vinegar (white) This preserves the meat and stops the flies , after the meat has dried out there will be no vinegar after taste. Salt for preserving too. These two ingredients are a must and form the bace of all preparations. There after its your choice , mostly i use cumin origanum black pepper brown sugar or sweet chilli sauce. The mixture should be constructed in layers and mixed up at the end leave for 5 hours then mix again , no more than 10 hours in total in the mixture then hang. Important do not allow the pieses of meat to touch one another whilst drying. Cheers. -
Thanks for the info dudes. I guess it still and always will come down to the individual and how the dot moves / grip / load etc After shooting 175 factor std gun for a long time i believe i am over gripping and trying to force the gun to sit still, i will let go slightly and float the blaster. Cheers.

Hi all, been a while since i have posted. I was wondering if it is possible to install a recoil master into a tanfoglio open gun without a gunsmiths services ? Also i am using V V 3n38 a load of 9.5g with 124 bullet factor is arround 172, question is am i producing too much gas for the comp ? Last question what recoil springs are you all running i went down to a 9 and found it too snappy now running an 11 ? I have very little experience with open and have spent the 9 years shooting standard and production, any input would help. Cheers

I have been using them in 38 super , super comp and in my 9mm cz , no problems at all , in the 9 mm i am using a 13 lbs main spring and it lights the primers every time.

some one once mentioned arround 12 ounces for a limited/standard set up . Is this the weight of the slide excluding sights , extractor, firing pin and fp stop plate?
-
seems that this virus is doing the rounds....
-
sorry , the main reason is that i draw the gun from allong the top of the slide so i dont actualy draw from the grip.
-
I use the weak hand , reason is i want a good grip with the weak hand and want my triger finger allong the frame before disengaging the saftey.

As a Southafrican i have limited knowlege of other brands , but i have shot over 30k of frontier bullets and have had no problems at all. Good quality product.
