  1. You shoot very upright and seem to stagger into some positions. You should lower your center of gravity by bending your knees and leaning forward at the waist. You appear to be leaning backwards with your knees bent, which makes it slower to explode into certain movements etc. Also it looks like you are eating up a ton of charlies on some of those stages, even shooting major pf you still need better points to some extent.
  2. Mid January or early February. I will post a link as soon as it's open.

    Q5 recoil springs

I ended up with a 15# flatwire wilson combat spring in mine. I tried the 13# spring and it shoots flatter for sure, but it was sluggish when returning to battery on several occasions and especially from slide lock. It also felt like it was unlocking a little when I ran really hard, pumped my arms or did quick aggressive movements. The 15# works well but I cut 2 full coils off of it because it's a long spring, made it the same length as the 13# one.
  5. Yes, before Oct 11th is the newest date.
  6. Just 2 weeks away from the match! Looks like a really good field of shooters coming in again this year.
  7. I put a full length guide rod for an M&P 5" in mine and it works great.
  8. .210X.100 is what I put on mine and was recommended to me from several other really good walther shooters.
  9. I've also shot the SSNationals 4 out of the last 5 years and have never had this happen there either. I have seen several holsters at that match farther forward than a limited holster and lower than should be allowed and yet nobody says anything. Of course it could be the shooter as to why.
  10. I've been shooting for almost 9 years now and I have never had this happen to me.
  11. So what most are suggesting is that the R.O. ask everyone that comes to the line what division they are shooting so that the R.O. can make sure they are within their division requirements?
  12. I went with the Springer, they fit tight and feel good in my hand. I haven't tried the Taylor ones but they look similar so I doubt you could go wrong with either.
  13. File it down and round it off, made a big difference in the feel of the gun after I did this to mine.
  14. Results are posted here: https://practiscore.com/results/new/9caa0cb6-186d-4f7f-96a2-0684f2c789d9 We hope everyone enjoyed the match and the warm weather. Next years match will be back in Tulsa, OK at The United States Shooting Academy (USSA) but the match date has yet to be determined. It will likely be around the same time frame as this year because we like to have it before the Area 4 match but not in the thrones of the Oklahoma summer heat.
  15. The match director has posted a link to the matchbook here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1yO7SVzBRqWyQBjwjte0GaqvqXcFsHJm1
  16. The person that was having the issue removed just a tiny bit of material from the front part of the frame/magwell, corner to corner, and his problem was resolved.
  17. Do the mags drop free from the factory on the ts orange or do you have to change the mag break spring? A shooter today, his mags are not dropping free and seem to get held up about 3/4 the way out. Seems to be right around the mag catch hole in the mag, you can see where it has wear on it. Should he open the magwell area ever so slightly or is it as simple as the spring? The magwell needs to be blended anyways because the magwell has a gap on the rear and creates a shelf that can hang up the mags when reloading. Any ideas?
  18. That looks like it would catch a ton of wind!
  19. Neither, Henning Group basepads are the best! Shockbottle would be my second choice and springer 3rd. I had shockbottles on my stock 2 mags and they work well, but looks like there is a slight issue with the over-insertion with them on the cz. Springer's are huge!!!! They are way too big for what they are. The Henning's are small and the basepad doesn't push into your palm like the others, after shooting them for about 8 months I definitely prefer them over the others.
