I think Gary was shooting matches when USPSA had a sling and stone division. I could be wrong though.

Well, when you move farther South everyone becomes 'Honey', 'Sweetheart' and 'Dear', so ... yeah, they might be more pleasant.

To me, 45 would be fine for Limited 10, but I don't think I'd spend the money for a setup solely for use in Limited 10.

The Tripp hybrid followers are nice, but realize you will loose one round in capacity when using it in both 8 round (becomes 7 round)and 10 round (becomes 9 round) mags.

Kimber makes their frames without the "window" style frame rails.

I have a couple of S&W Performance Center guns and the only thing the trigger stop accomplished in either of these guns was to leave a gouge mark on the the frame.

Set up and shoot some practice stages (including reloads) shooting both major and minor and compare your hit factors. Then make your choice based on what you shoot better. Nothing else matters.

That's the setup I'm planning on. Now I just need to find out what front sight height I'll need for my 5" 627.

A goodly number of pants/jeans nowadays are made with only five belt loops. Try to find some in your size with seven belt loops for more support and if you can find something with a higher/taller rise so the belt rests above your pelvic girdle all the better. You didn't mention your inseam length, so be aware those manufacturers who offer pants in Tall sizes (for the increased rise) may only come in longer lengths which would require hemming to fit you. A small price to pay for a good comfortable fit.
