  1. Failure to fire? Like the 9mm round is in the chamber in battery and doesn't go bang? I have 2 MPXs. Both took a couple hundred rounds to get broken in. Your power factory might be a bit low for a brand new gun with mags fully loaded. Factory 115 FMJ type ammo will be closer to 150PF out of your rifle. My 147gr load runs 138PF in my carbine. Same load is 129PF out of a hand gun

  3. That grip to frame fit looks bad. Usually people have to fit the steel grips to the frame. Maybe your plastic one needs a bit of fitting to get it up higher and in turn raise those springs up too...
  4. I am 44 and got my first pair of glasses last year. I don't really need them but when I do wear them I can read the TV guide or see football scores on a 55 inch TV without squinting. I know I shoot faster than I focus and call shots as best I can. If I waited around to see the holes I bet my times would double. Just try watching someone shooting the stage and look for their hits. How fast can you find the holes in the target? Are they shooting the next target before you can see both hits when all you are doing it looking for hits?
  5. 147 Blues with 3.1gr universal I messed around with lighter bullets trying to get the loudness of a super sonic round for the timer but always felt the 147s were softer with less dot movement for double taps
  6. No go for this MPXer Unless shooting wolf steel cased ammo
  7. I have a 8moa c more and ct206. I usually don't seen the green laser dot as the red dot is much brighter. The only time I see the laser is moving and shooting where I get up off the stock and am not looking thru the c more.
  8. A 4.5lb 2 stage $350 MPX trigger? I bet they sell like hot cakes....
  9. I like everything about holosun. Just wish they'd offer a larger moa dot as on option. How awesome would a 6 or 8 moa green dot be in the 510!!!???
  10. Thanks that's all good info. I may try the standard picatinny mount that the RTS2 comes with to see how it does retaining zero. Thanks
  11. I was looking for a QD type mount for a 22 cal rile that I would like to go back and forth between red dot and scope. Does anyone make a good QD mount for the RTS2? Also noticed shooters connection has been out of RTS2s for a while. Before it was the good ones 8 and 10 moa. Now shows they have none in stock. Are RTS2s scarce, SC quit selling them or maybe a new revision coming?
  12. Mine holds 50. But its tight for rounds 49 and 50. Also took several loadings and unloadings to get some set in the spring. At first it might fail to have a round go into battery between 40 and 50. Now it runs 100% but I rarely put more than 47 in it
  13. Aimpoint makes great stuff. But its expensive, FOV is small, bezel and battery compartmemt a bit big and 2 moa dot is the only choice. For a competition sight where speed is more important than durability I'd save a few bucks. The old c more slide ride with 8 moa dot is hard to find things wrong with. For competition - but not my first choice for real world or SD applications
  14. So after 25K now what? Buy a new upper? Would they warranty it if you had not changed the parts or would sig say its worn out and make you buy a new one?
  15. I googled stepped brass and came across this thread... Even if the tooling is cheaper there is more material there and it has to run up manufacturing costs in the long run. I'd like to know why they make the stepped brass but still haven't figured it out. Any new news as to why in the past couple years?
  16. Ended up just cutting off a bit of the rail and put some black paint on the end to cover the cut. Cheaper than buying a new one plus the handguard and receiver set is cerakoted the same color. Its a shooter! 300 yard test target with 69 sierra MKs
  17. Major loads of silhouette does it too
  18. Finally got out to shoot this again without the brake installed. It shoots way under an 1" now - ragged one holes groups with my 77smk loads. I did notice that as the gun warms up the groups do open up a bit but still under MOA. I assume a bit of POI and group size shift is to be expected from most every gun as the barrel gets warm?
  19. Not sure you need a 20 rounder. I have one that I use as a drop mag for classifiers. I reload to big sticks too. Even using a 30 rounder to reload too its easy to get you thumb jammed between the mag and mag well. It sucks! Don't do it! Trust me and learn from my mistakes....
  20. Get the same poor results suppressed or unsuppressed
  21. Put a gun together with good components but have had a few problems. Now working on accuracy. Have shot my 77smk serivice rifle loads that shoot sub 1/2 moa out of a RR NM gun that shoot well over an inch @ 100 in this build. Tried some Hornary 68 and 73 gr factory match loads that shoot over an inch too. The WOA barrel probably has about 150 rounds thru it. I started thinking the barrel should have settled in by now and am wondering if my hand guard and muzzle device are making contact when shooting. 17.5 in hand guard on a 18 barrel. The only muzzle brake/suppressor mount that would let me attach a can and clear the hand guard is a YHM mount. Have about 0.0790 clearance between the brake and hand guard. Whats the chance these are hitting causing my poor accuracy issues?
  22. Curious - Why no silencerco omega?
  23. My mags drop freely out of the gun with the TTI magwell - unless I have a heavy big stick and pointing the gun upwards. If the gun is flat everything drops freely. Even and unloaded 20 rounders And don't drop them big sticks with extended base pads. You will eventually snap the plastic mag off where the extension attaches
