  1. interesting, i have heard of folk having issues with some surefire mags (maybe it was the 100 round version?)
  2. oh lordy, now i want one. JP LRP 07. Why did I open this thread...
  3. Oh Lordy this thread is going to cost me money...
  4. Hmmm - i might need to try this. Also, JP supplies a little bottle or "Rydol" grease for the sear. Not much is needed.
  5. My stack just seems to keep growing...
  6. agree with reacerba above - should definately not be happening to a stock glock
  7. Yip same here - i think i actually shoot better with my glock. I can definately double tap faster with the glock. (maybe lower bore axis?)
  8. So what did you have to bribe the wife with?? PLease tell me as i have the same situation and nned to convince the wife!
  9. Threads like this are dangerous..... to my bank account.
  10. Hi Mechanic - that break is the Sako Factory break. Cost about $80 if I remember correctly.
  11. Just saw one go on ebay for nearly $500. I think i will just get on the backorder list at midway...
  12. I dont think i could ever sell my JP. Ever. Nah, not happening.
  13. Agreed with all the comments above. Another way to set the gas block properly is to open it completely, load a full magazine fire a shot. Then, close the screw a little and fire another shot. Keep closing off the screw until the gun does not chamber the next round... back off a little. This is the point where recoil is effectively "tuned out" for that specific ammo. Of course if you change ammo you have to go thru this process again.
  14. Title says it all, Wanting to start reloading as the ammor prices are nuts (especially for long range rifle ammo). Should have done this years ago. Anyone know where i can get my hands on one?
  15. A glock will take you far in this sport....
  16. I have an SCR 11 with JP's med weight 18 inch barrel. LMOS, heat sink and silent spring etc. It is quite heavy, but I wanted it that way since I also use it for long range prarie dog matches (out to 550 yards) since the weight adds stability. I also recently used it a 3 gun match and did not feel that the gun slowed me down at all. JP makes awesome stuff, be warned you will become a life long customer.
  17. Mark- just a quick one to say thanks for all the guidance at the match. Had a great time and everyone was super helpful! Please add my email to the mailing list for the scores. ( I wrote it on my score sheet - Antony)
  18. Hi everyone! Is the match for this weekend still on? (Mar 2nd?) For the newbies like me, can someone tell us: 1) What the match fees are 2) rough idea of Ammo needed per gun? Many thanks!
  19. Thanks Aaron - yes I figured I can get it rebarrelled into .260 if I feel the need. But right now I am still learning this game. It would be nice to have something that cheats wind better, but for now this will do
