  1. It's a .358 bullet in a 9mm case. I'm using 9mm dies so I'm guessing it's a taper crimp.
  2. Two words, plunk test. Google it, watch YouTube videos.
  3. It's going to be fun, and that's all you really need to know
  4. I don't give a rat's ass about pressure, I'm shooting it in a .357 gun. I care about velocity / power factor.
  5. What? .38 Short Colt is NOT exactly the same as .38 Special, it's MUCH shorter. To get the same velocity out of .38 Special I need to use more powder.
  6. And video killed the radio star. The factory chimp is useless. I had my barrel cut to five inches.
  7. Well I guess my barrel's not bent. I went back out to the range, and did some slow fire double action at 25 yards. The 4 red circles are my shots. How did I mike that tuxedo at 7 yards?
  8. And I can't figure out how to delete a string/file. They are not doing themselves any favors.
  9. I would think that's correct. My trigger is set at 6 pounds, and it will fire Fed 100s reliably, but not Federal loaded ammo.
  10. The Arizona State Revolver Championship was held today under sunny sky's and mild mid 70s temperatures. Nine challenging stages, great RO's, brisket and sausage for lunch, and no ten foot walls awaited shooters that made the trip to the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club, located at the base of South Mountain. Bob Border (the match director) really knows how to run things. We were done shooting by 12:30, lunch and awards by 2:00. I started off with a couple of mikes and a standing reload on a plate rack, and ended up with a mike on a tuxedo. In between I shot um, ahh, I had fun Here are the pictures I shot (no mikes). It was a great match, and they're already planning next year's, and you should start planning too. I'm still working on the videos. .
