Nordic had a prototype. Ken was running it at a local match. Not sure if they ever plan to market it or not.

Not necessarily. Every match runs its own set of rules. IIRC superstition has a no race holster rule for Tac.

Because of their hippy anti-gun views or because they can't lock it in their machine as a whole mag? Anti gun views. "Things Remembered" in the mall here gave me that answer. She had the the first mag tube almost going when her coworker told her that it was a gun part. She had no clue what it was otherwise and prepared to do the work.

You wanna run heads up with no classification then earn your prize by order of finish. I'm not very good at 3 gun but ill play by rules that the more experienced shooters want. However I think it's silly to say NO CLASSIFICATIONS then say or but let's have random draw so everybody can have a warm fuzzy. You wanna play heads up, cool. Play heads up and earn what you earn. Exactly. Give the fat kid a trophy at track and field day for finishing dead last, then take him out to McDonalds to celebrate his trophy.

I really like the concept of this match, and I applaud Ken for taking this on. With 3GN PRO only matches and such it is nice to have something like this for the AM shooters. With the TV show and media spotlight pushing everything towards the PRO series this isn't something that anyone would expect to emerge. I hope that this match does well, and I hope that I shoot in it! Just to keep the pot stir'd up a little, it is also going to be fun to watch how many of the PRO shooters try to find a way to shoot this match

We must not be shooting the same matches

Laser RF are routinely used at all 3 gun matches in walk throughs and stage preps to figure out how far the targets are. If you are shooting the same division as me feel free to use it on the clock to double check each target along with the wind!

If there was cheap optic that was comparible to the Swarovski there would be a $h!t ton of people running them as primary optics.

Yes the matches listed can be shot for points in both SP and AM.

At what FPS? I'm getting 3070fps out of a 18" barrel. What are you guys starting out with for grains of H335 (I know the standard of reloading ie start small, ymmv, etc) just curious as I've never used that powder and most manuals aren't based on 18" barreled gas guns.

You are correct, SP and AM were not last year, and I have seen nothing different this year, allowed to also shoot divisional. That part I don't get since you are allowed to shoot in Pro AND divisional! You can sign up for SP and Divisional. Just not AM and Divisional. I just signed up for divisional for next year and it would have let me sign up for SP, I just didn't since it would be a waste as I won't be shooting TO at any matches. Which makes no sense

I don't see why they don't want people shooting semi/Am and the divisional. Other than the extra work in keeping track of points it doesn't do anythink to 3GN. Plus it would keep the smaller divisions rolling and it keeps chances for sponsors of "non TO" gear some more exposure.

They may not blend together to look like there is no transition of where the barrel ends and the comp starts, but function won't be an issue. Are you planning on having it turned down so they are timed together, or using a crush washer between them?

Where did you find dates announced Nick? They are listed in the sticky for 2013 match dates

Nothing to do with an open gun, but we have several guys on my department using the factory 22 round mags and they have all been 100% so far. Again that is with a stock G22 though.

I've had good results with CFE223 for 69 and 75 grainers
