  4. I love it... Regular dude: I've never owned an a gun like that, but let me tell you all about why nobody needs to own one... Buy what you like people, if you don't like what I bought then don't buy one like it.
  5. Try getting to the match early and walking the stages before the match starts, that way when its time for the actual walk through you're not starting from zero.
  6. Certainly within it's magnetic field, right? I think you're reaching..... Actually, I shot a Level II match this weekend where I was NOT allowed to use my magnet on a stage because stage description said magazines had to be placed "in" pouches. RM ruling? Real RM? Did the WSB specifically say "may not use magnet mag pouches?" What would they have done with a competitor running only magnet mag pouches? The Stage was one where the gun was loaded on a table, all magazines to be used on the stage must start on the table, after start magazines can be placed in carriers. Many shooters grabbed mags and stuck in their pouches. At lunch I was told by someone who had to reshoot the stage because he used his magnet that it wasnt being allowed on the stage, so since I wanted to use mine on that stage also I made a point to ask the RO on the walkthrough and he said if I used it I would get a procedural. The WSB did not say anything about magnets, just that magazines had to be "in" carriers. I Didn't take it up with the RM.

  8. Outside of looking at the pictures on the site, the best thing you can do is call SV and ask to speak with Brandon. He's really helpful and can help you pick the right options for your build.
  9. Yes the STI mags will fit in their metal grips. The competition XL Magwell is very similar to the Dawson (I personally can't tell the difference since switching from a Dawson)
  10. On the Table start focus on the gun, in the video you seem to be looking at the targets, then on at the buzzer you look down to the gun. When starting from the table looking at the target wont help becuase you will still need to look to the table to pick up the gun. Have a look at this video for some tips on the table start http://www.youtube.com/user/jbshooter12345#p/a/u/1/v2I81XRS2oc

  13. Discovered the same difference when I replaced a Wolf 15lb mainspring with an ISMI 15lb and my trigger got a whole lot lighter! Lesson learned, not all springs are created equal
  14. Maybe this can help you to diagnose.

  18. Okay, here is my latest USPS/Montana Gold story. (happened today) Late last week MG shipped me 3 cases of bullets, as usual insured USPS flat rate boxes. I have been following the tracking online so I knew that they would be delivered to my house today and made sure I was home to meet the mail carrier. At about 1 pm I see the mail truck pull up so I head outside to meet the carrier and said hi, I'm expecting a few packages today. At this point he says yes but they were too heavy, so I say it's okay I am here to help you with them. He reaches into a pile of papers and hands me the pink slip which reads "Sorry we missed you...." So I look him square in the face and I say but you haven't missed me I am standing right here! He then offered to deliver them for me tomorrow if I singed the paper and gave it back to him. Long story short I took the paper and drove to the post office to pick up my bullets, when I got there the response was "oh I didnt expect to see anyone about these until tomorrow because we sent out the notice today" ummm why did you send a notice and not my packages??
  19. cool, I would be interested in hearing the details and how it works out for you.
