  1. I' I've had the same problem with CBC 9mm brass. The case is thin and bulges slightly during the bullet seating. All my CBC doesn't case gauge well Top picture is starline. Bottom picture is CBC. Toss all the CBC stuff.
  2. Trace, it's much easier on the back and neck to look straight ahead, than to bend over and look in the case. I have a MB feeder. Now the only time that I have to bend over the 650 press, is to clear something. I wouldn't put this setup on my 550, but on the 650 it's sweet.
  3. I think that you have too much light. That big light of yours is causing the case interior to be in too much shadow. Shut off some light and see what happens.Let the light from the camera be the one to illuminate the interior of the case. I'm also not familiar with your press. Maybe a small bracket to move the camera down and closer.
  4. My utmost respect and appreciation for all who served and are serving today. Thank you for keeping me and mine safe. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy the privileges of being an American.
  5. I screwed a hole and tapped it. Very easy to do in an aluminum press.
  6. I drilled a hole in the end cap that I attached to the pipe. I drilled another hole in the monitor stand. I used a nut and bolt to hold it together.
  7. My CZ does the same. You can engage the safety when the hammer is down. It does work as it should when he hammer is cocked. Spoke with the Cajun people and many other CZ shooters. As long as the safety works when the hammer is cocked you're good to go. So far I've not needed to use the safety. You don't use it in production and if I'm at the range, I unload and clear if I stop shooting.
  8. Are you using new brass? New stuff can stick. Also check that you are using the correct funnel. S/B the D funnel.
  9. That's the same resolution. I used the ChiTronic® 7 Inch HD TFT 800*480 Rotating LCD Display Color Monitor -
  10. Tech tip. The lights on the camera are very bright and wash out the picture on the monitor. I used a black sharpie to coat the leds. Works fine.
  11. Halloween just ended so that means it's time to name the October 2017 MOM award winner. This month's winner has been a member since 2006. (mostly likely politics or shooting related..which are out of bounds)Please review what you are..ahhh...allowed to hate. :)Hate Forum Rules:http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8097[note: this is a generic reply]
  13. I can't express how much this hurts. My prayers and heart go out to all the victims and their families and friends. I lived through this scene in Newtown. I pray that this never happens again. If you post here, please remember to to be respectful and leave any politics and opinions at the door.
  14. This month's MOM recipient has a very wide range of qualifications to be an MOM. He's been a member since 2011. He has always been willing to follow Brian's prime directives. Share and contribute. He started a very detailed and informative range diary in 2013. That diary now has 34 pages of posts. He's over fifty and made GM. He just completed a book which hopefully will be available in the near future. Please join Brian and the Moderators in congratulating the September 2017 MOM award winner, Nimitz.
  15. Can you believe it? September 2017 is coming to a close. Things are slow and we've only had a handful of nominations for MOM. I know that you people in Texas and Florida are busy right now( I hope everyone is OK) but the rest of you need to get on the ball. 4 days left. Let's hear those names, and the reason for those nominations.
  16. With all that has gone on recently with Hurricane Harvey and Irma, it's easy to forget things. I pray for all the people in those hard hit areas. Today is the 16th anniversary of the 9/11 attack. God bless all who responded and fought for our liberty and freedoms. Never forget.
  17. Grumpy asked me to post this... If you get this, post in the Irma thread you started that we are ok, no damage to house or property, but no power and cell service has been going in and out, and we can't leave the house as there is a tree on powerlines blocking the road.
  18. Good luck and stay safe to all the members in the way of Irma. Our thoughts are with you.
  19. A buddy of mine sent these picture. He's an Afghan, Iraq vet. A helicopter pilot and medic. He was also involved in evac with Katrina.
  20. It's a pleasure to introduce the August 2017 MOM award winner. He joined the Forums way back in 2008. The thing that distinguishes this MOM is not so much his posting( which is excellent) but the responses of the Forum members to him.. "... helped me see a different way of shooting our last stage " "...has given you the best advice you will ever get!!!! It applies to everything!!! This should be in the top ten rules for life!!!! " "...gives a pretty good analogy " "..has a good solution, " ".. Completely agree with " ".. has some good advice " "...Thanks for the suggestions" "..I like the way he thinks. Genius." These and many more are the reason for this month's MOM award winner. Please join Brian and the Moderators in congratulating Flatland Shooter. He is the August 2017 MOM. I'm sure I speak for the whole Forum community when I say that we wish you well during this difficult time in Texas. Stay safe.
  21. Good luck. Positive thoughts inbound.
  22. Great pictures. There is something about a grandchild's hand that is irresistible. Of all the senses, the sense of touch is the most powerful.
