  3. March 29th, 30th Extreme CQB Long Gun with Todd Rassa $400 per student Duration: 2 days / 16 hours Sign up: http://www.ccctactical.com/services/extreme-close-quarters-battle-long-gun-course-ecqblg-todd-rassa/ Contact Cat@cccshooters.com or 214-422-7793 for more info Extreme CQB Long Gun with Todd Rassa $400 per student Duration: 2 days / 16 hours The majority of defensive shootings occur in close proximity. With the increasing numbers of law enforcement, military and responsible citizens utilizing long guns for self-defense, there is an overwhelming need for a realistic training course that exposes the student to extremely close quarters battle with long guns. Unlike other “close quarters” rifle classes, this class will truly expose the student to training that will assist them in their performance at arms reach to contact distances while deploying a long gun. This course also differs from other Basic-CQB rifle schools in that the student will not be asked to be defensive, but aggressive once the decision has been made to protect their lives or the lives of someone else. The student will be able to take the lessons learned from this program and apply them to their personal training regimen or their agency’s training doctrine. This intense two-day school is designed for the operator, responsible citizen and instructor. Topics Covered: • Fundamentals of CQB Long Gun • Long Gun Point Shooting Techniques • Multiple Adversaries • Hand-to-Hand Tactics • Long Gun Ground Fighting/Shooting • Zero Clearance/Point Contact Shooting • Shooting from within Confined Spaces/Building Searches • Force-on-Force Scenario Training (when training site allows) Estimated round count: 400 rounds long gun, or 300 rounds shotgun and 200 rounds handgun Equipment List: • Long gun (any defensive long gun for ex. AR, shotgun, AK, SMG) with sling and mag pouches / shell carriers • Semi-Auto Pistol or revolver and 3 magazines / speed loaders and pouches • Belt mounted, dominant side holster or duty rig • Sturdy Belt at least 1.5” wide • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning and clothing suitable for training in all weather conditions. • Hat with a brim • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses • Earmuffs and earplugs Todd Rass March2014 ECQ long gun.pdf

March 28th, 2014 $200 per student Todd Rassa, Instructor http://www.ccctactical.com/services/counter-ambush-training-wtodd-rassa-march-28th/ Contact Cat@cccshooters.com or 214-422-7793 for more info All courses held at Cawthon Cartridge Club (CCC Shooters) Click here for MAP: http://cccshooters.com/map/ Counter Ambush Training (CAT) w/Todd Rassa $200 per student Duration: 1 day / 8 hours Whether you are a responsibly armed citizen or law enforcement, “ambush” style attacks are on the rise. This is because the method of attacking your prey while they are not expecting it or when distracted is a very effective tactic – it more often results in success than a frontal assault. Yet most of the training we receive involves learning and practicing techniques of repelling the frontal assault. Instead of a 180 degree approach to training, in this one-day school we learn to recognize our tactical vulnerabilities and blind spots in 360 degrees and minimize them. We will learn to decrease our threat recognition time and maximize the effectiveness of our response. Students will learn to: • Decrease threat recognition time and maximize the effectiveness of their response • Learn and practice empty hand, defensive knife and pistol skills in an integrated counter ambush combatives system. Notes Estimated round count: 200 rounds pistol. Equipment Requirements: • Pistol or revolver • 3 magazines or speed loaders minimum • Belt mounted, dominant side concealment holster • Sturdy Belt at least 1.5″ wide • Concealment garment • Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning and clothing suitable for training in all weather conditions • Shooting Protection (hat with a brim, wraparound eyewear, earmuffs or earplugs) • Folding knife • Knee and elbow pads (if desired) Todd Rass March2014 CounterAmbushTraining.pdf

  9. February 8th, 2014: Noveske Shooting Team 3-Gun Training Class Cawthon Cartridge Club http://www.ccctactical.com/find-us/ $350 Contact Cat@cccshooters.com or 214-422-7793 to sign up February 9th, 2014: Noveske Shooting Team Shotgun Course Cawthon Cartridge Club http://www.ccctactical.com/find-us/ $350 Contact Cat@cccshooters.com or 214-422-7793 to sign up The Noveske Shooting Team 3 Gun Training class is unlike any other program currently taught. This course was developed entirely by Jansen Jones and Rob Romero as an interactive class to improve a shooters match performance and enhance their match finishes at multi gun as well as rifle and shotgun matches. The class was founded on the concept that it would be a class they would want to take themselves. Through the use of their unique micro block curriculum, small class size, personalized attention and most of all, attention to detail, students will see improvement within the first few hours of the program. Participants are expected to treat the class like a match; the class will be broken down into 3 gun stages, micro blocks of instruction focusing on key 3 gun concepts (shotgun reloading, barricade/port shooting, stage breakdown etc.), a man-versus-man shoot-off session and more. Students are paying for a class that costs as much as a major match and the goal is to provide each student with as much of a match experience as possible all while improving your 3 gun game. This class is for the novice to intermediate level student and will deliver focused instruction on specific skills, strategies, and stages of 3 Gun Competition. Team Noveske will also discuss in depth Immediate action drills, unconventional shooting techniques and barricades . Steel, paper, flippers, Texas stars and plates are all engaged at contact distance out to 100 yards. Students are expected to arrive with rifle zero known at 100 yards, as well as point of aim/point of impact at 5, 25 and 50 yards. About the instructors: Instructor: Rob Romero is a USPSA Grandmaster in Production. He won the 2010 FNH USA3 Gun Nation Shoot Off back in May. Rob was selected to represent the USA at the 2010 Pan American Shotgun Championship and is currently ranked top 5 in all Pan American Countries in Standard shotgun. Rob is the 2011 Heavy Metal Division winner based on the 3 Gun Nation points series and holds titles from Rocky Mtn, Ozark 3 Gun and FNH USA 3 Gun Championships in 2011 alone. 13. $525 January 25, 26 2014 Contact Cat@cccshooters.com or 214-422-7793 The focus of the January 25th & 26th 2013 Combat Speed LLC training event at the Cawthorn Cartridge Club Training Range will be the comprehensive technical and tactical use of the semi-automatic pistol. Training participants will be required to apply specific reality based safety concepts and specific training guidance that supports the continuous application of active security and safety measures for getting your pistol into action, keeping your pistol in action, and getting your pistol back into action with confidence and professionalism. Technical and tactical proficiency equals effectiveness. Effectiveness is the measure of skill. You are required to provide the minimum equipment stated herein to support the quality and smooth flow of your training; Be prepared to take notes! [This means have note-taking material…] You should have a basic first aid kit to treat yourself for minor cuts, scratches etc. to include a bottle of liquid tears / Visine for rinsing your eyes if needed. Also, you may want to have sunscreen and hand sanitizer. Have one pair of certified ballistic Eye & Ear protection. EYE PROTECTION MUST PROVIDE ADEQUATE COVERAGE OF YOUR EYES FROM THE SIDES. Prescription eyeglasses are acceptable but you must make sure they are ballistic rated.   Electronic hearing protection is recommended [but not mandatory], as it will allow you to hear the instruction better than if you are wearing earplugs and/or non-electronic hearing protection Have functional clothing that allows for a full range of physical motion, appropriate footgear and seasonal weather gear. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended, you can roll up the sleeves if necessary. Open toed shoes are not acceptable nor are sandals - even if they have covered toes. They do not provide adequate protection from shrapnel and hot brass. Have a hat with a bill or brim. Ball caps and boonie hats are recommended. Flat-billed ball caps do not work to protect your face from flying brass as well as ball caps with curved bills. A bandana or shemagh can be wet down to keep you cool and also serve’s to keep hot brass from migrating down your shirt. Have a 5.11 type vest or suitable garment if you would like to incorporate aspects of working from concealment. Duty uniform & equipment is recommended for participating military personnel and/or law enforcement officers to include body armor and working gloves if your duty assignment requires them. Knee and Elbow pads are recommended. For your Pistol Training; have a reliable pistol of reputable manufacture with a minimum of 3 / 15 round magazines. Have the appropriate maintenance equipment & lubrication. Have a quality holster and 2 magazine carriers (1 double/2 singles). 1911 Single Stack Drivers have at least 5 / 8 round magazines. Have at least 10 each inert training round’s, they will be incorporated throughout training. You will need (and be loading) 1,200 rounds of ammunition over the course of 2 days. A pistol magazine loader (like the Uplula) is strongly recommended. This item and many others for sale at the range or www.ccctactical.com   Given the quality of this training, it would be a shame to miss out because of a serious weapons malfunction. At the very least, have the critical spare parts for the specific make & model of pistol you plan to use for training. If you can, have an identical spare pistol. For low & no light work, hand held flashlight(s) and/or attachable firearm lights will be necessary, have a primary and secondary light source. A small knapsack or assault pack to hold your first aid kit, rain gear, extra dry socks, note taking materials etc. is recommended. In addition, a small cooler for cold drinks, food, snacks etc. is very handy as is a folding chair. Please bring your lunch and eat on the range, travel to nearby local restaurants is very time consuming. We will take adequate time for dinner before the low/no-light work to allow for a hot meal. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact.
