  1. Would you be interested in any trades for your Staccato C?

    1911's?  CZ's? S&W pre-lock "N" frame revolver? Anything else?

    Thanks.

  2. Is the finish wear just holster wear, or is there a scratch/gouge on the left side near the muzzle?  (Can't tell from the photo).

What kind of finish does the pistol have (Cerrocote, etc.?)

    Interested in any trades?

    Thanks

      Hi,

For me it appears to be that it is only holster wear (just checked it) I can not feel any uneven wear when I touch it there.

I am more then happy to send a picture of that part only.

      It has bluing on in.

I might trade it if somebody has aimpoint or trijicon for trade.

      thanks,

  3. Sir:

What kind of a backup gun might you be interested in?

I have a like new Shadow from CS Custom with nine 17-round magazines in perfect condition.  The gun has about 800 rounds through it, and I have four Kytex single magazine pouches and a Blade-Tech holster for it that are in perfect, like new condition.  Interested in anything like tat as a trade?

    Thanks.

Purchased new by me in December 2014, 2014 manufacture.  Used about a year in IDPA locally, netting a round count a hair north of 4k on a diet of my reloads.

      - Recoil spring changed at 1000 rds to the WC flat wire 17# spring (lost the original recoil guide/19# RS)

      - Dawson sights installed 1700ish rds(gunsmith install) - hits slightly high with 230 gr, on the money with 200 gr, 185 gr.  Meant to install a taller front sight, never got around to it.  I never noticed any issues shooting matches so left it well enough alone.  Front sight is a .180T x .110 W,

      - approx 2k rounds  got a gunsmith trigger job - Nowlin sear spring, EGW hard sear and Caspian trik trigger installed.  He came back with a the break at 2.25 lbs, I had him add tension to the sear spring to put it right at about 2.5#.

      - At some point early on I put on the specialist mag well, I didn't write it down but probably in the first 500 or so rounds.  it's a 2 piece deal with a finish to match the gun.

it's overcast, but heres a couple from today.  I'm not going to try to oversell it, but the duty finish is pretty great.  It's held up better than any other finish short of stainless.  The slide and frame are in good/very good condition.  The one blemish is where I let a buddy handle the gun and he had CLP on his hands so there's a slight cloudy smudge on the right side of the slide.  DW is pretty explicit to not use CLP but regular solvents and oils only.

Please accept my apology for failing to return your message.  I just found out two days ago that we are going to be moving.  Our current home is sold and we have located a new one to move to and we have five weeks to get everything done.  I am putting all my shooting and "gun stuff" on temporary hold until we get relocated.  Again, I apologize.  Perhaps we can re-visit in late October or early November if there is still mutual interest.

  5. Doug:

Sent a PM earlier, but realized I may have sent it to the wrong place. In any event, if you receive duplicate messages from me, ignore one of them! Just following up to make certain you received the RT1200 trimmer I mailed you. Hadn't heard anything from you and wanted to make sure the package made it!
