Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've had a couple CZs now. The first CZ I ever got was the 75b, and it's never jammed on me after thousands of rounds - not even one. For that reason alone I've kept the pistol till this day. My SP-01 is a tack driver it has yet to jam either. The only guns that have consistently jammed on me (for whatever reason) are 1911s. My CZs I can shoot side by side with my Glocks, not clean them for hundreds of rounds, and they keep running.
  2. I've heard that the lpa adjustable sights affects the height of the pistol by quite a bit and it may not fit in the ipsc box once installed. wanted to see if you any of you have encountered a similar experience.. and is the adjustable sight really beneficial and worth the hassle?
  3. hi zipper - I bought the pistol from a friend of mine, and he does not know the name of it. just got it from the local shop, and had them install it. sorry, wish i could help more.
  4. Looking to get feedback on everyone's favorite holster for the CZ75b. Is there a holster that fits the bill well for both ccw and ipsc/idpa use? I prefer leather, but nylon or plastic would work as well. Thanks.
  5. I'm new to IPSC, and thinking about swapping out my night sights to fiber optics or more 'competition' friendly sights. Thing is, I just got done putting on the stock night sights (regular old 3 dot trijicons) so was thinking about winging it with the current setup on the pistol for competition/match use. Here to get feedback on ones who use stock night sights for this purpose. another reason I wanted to stick with it is because I like the idea of using the gun I compete/practice in the event of a HD situation as well. all input appreciated, thanks!
  6. ah, good to see i'm not the only lefty around here so i'm not a big fan of pulling out the dremel for the aforementioned reasons that some of you brought up. local gun shop suggested swapping out the mag release for the non-extended oem version as well, and that seemed to do the trick for some of you as well. i think i'll be taking this route. any suggestions on where to order the part, or should i just go through the local gun shop?
  7. Just picked up a G35 (which I love), but the mag release on the left side of the gun presses against my middle finger and leaves a nasty blister. It would otherwise be a very comfortable gun to shoot. I noticed the mag release on the G35 models are extended compared to the others, so I've read swapping out the mag release to a regular one may do the trick and prevent the rubbing on the third finger. Just wanted to see if any other lefties out there have had similar experiences and your suggestions. Thanks.
