Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have a Shadow 2 Kadet. I haven't heard of anyone milling them. The dovetail mount I had for my Shadow 2 did not work on the Kadet. The dovetail was correct, but the height of the slide in front of the dovetail was different enough that it would not work.
  2. I have the Rudy Project Rydon with the prescription inserts. I really like being able to change the safety lenses to a different color depending on current conditions.
  3. I have all 3 varieties of CMC 10rd mags. The regular 10rd almost fits the 141 gauge. You could maybe bevel the rear corner of the base and get it to fit. The power 10 is about 150/51mm and the RPM 10 rounder is a hair longer, both well short of the 170 side of the gauge.

    Mag Well for Shadow 2?

I got my magwell from Armory Craft and it works great with both Taylor Freelance and Henning extensions.
  5. I did this to my S2. You don’t have to switch to sao, but I really like the tac sports trigger. I also changed to the concealed checkmate hammer. It has much shorter hammer hooks so the single action is even better, but in all honesty I only really notice the difference in trigger pull in bullseye shooting. If you have done all the smoothing and springs already, the single action is nice enough with the stock parts that for uspsa the difference is splitting hairs. If you do a magwell, you’ll need the short grips or trim the ones you have. The Henning baseplate works fine with the magwell I got from armory craft. I did get a second trigger bar and hammer strut and set it up so I could just swap out assemblies, that way switching back is only a few minutes. Enjoy.
  6. Both guns are fine for Tac Optics and would be good choices. For USPSA, the TSO would be for limited or limited 10. The s2 is most commonly seen in production, but you could use it in lim/lim10 if you wanted to. Cheers, Kevin
  7. I shoot a Saiga with the rest of my gear essentially TacOptics (Production pistol). I don't have a magwell on it yet, so to do consistent reloads I have to lock the bolt back. I don't think there is much advantage over a tube gun without a magwell. With a magwell in Open, I don't know that it is much advantage over the speedloader tubes. If Open got rid of the 10 round limits, it would start making a difference. I think letting a Saiga without a magwell into TacOptics and HMTactical wouldn't show an advantage at all. But, I may be biased since that's where I would like to shoot. Kevin Walker

    M&P 45

The only magwell that I have been able to find is a built in one from http://gripreductions.com/. Tony Phan was shooting one on his M&P 45 in L10. He had the grip reduction too. It felt great. Hope this helps. Cheers, Kevin Walker
