Hello everyone. I am currently in the market for a three gun ar and i think I am down to either the STI Sporting rifle or the DPMS 3G1. Cost will be about the same for both. The only thing is a can get an STI now and would have to wait for the DPMS. So I am wondering which is the better rifle for the money and why? Thanks in advance. Craig

yep have chrono it many times and when it was really cold it chrono at 165.2 but in the texas heat it is great.

I am looking for a new press and i have it down to either a 1050 with KISS bulletfeeder or a 650 with KISS and PW autodrive. Just looking for everybody opinion on these two choices. Thanks Craig

Hello again I am in the process of buying parts for an ar for three gun. I am doing this on a small budget and have questions on an upper. The two that i am currently looking at are Stag 3 or the Spikes tactical middy. Both cost about 480 with BCG. Out of those two which one would be the better choice. I am only looking to shoot about 2 large matches and a few more locals. Any help or direction would be great. Thanks again. Craig

Is there going to be a trooper class?

Hey all I am new to three gun and after reading the trooper rules that MGM has on there website it seems like this is the div for me. My question is that do most three gun matches have trooper as a div. Also equipment for trooper. does everyone in trooper shoot together or is this major minor power factor and optic/iron. Also during the stages do you carry all of your equipment with you or do you stage your extra ammo and guns thanks for your info. Craig

I run 4.3 bulleye behind 175 LSWC at 1.140 oal I have shot prob about 4000 of this load with no issue what so ever

So do the new trojans still need the feed ramp fixed or has sti work this out. Also do the tripp standard 10 round mags fit in the uspsa and idpa box or do i need to order the system mags

steel1212 are you saying that if i use 40 mags with the spacers i should not use swc because my currenly limited load is with 175 swc. I am currenly looking at the wilson 47fx or the tripp cobra mags

Hey everyone I am going to shoot single stack next year when i get home from this current deployment. My limited gun is a xdm so the max i load is 1.140. I am going to be buy i trojan 40 and want to find mags that will let me run the shorter oal and still work good. I haveread about 1000 post on mags for the 40 the problem is that everyone seems to load long because they have sti sv limited guns and want the same loads. So my question is what mags for the 40 with a oal of 1.135-1.145. Thanks for your time. Craig

let me see 2000 lbs jdam 7000 grains per lbs and 900 fps 2000x7000=14000000x900fps=1260000000000 for a grand total of a pf of 1260000000 it will make it with alittle to spare. but for a big match i might need alittle better margin of error. j/k

B-1b Bomber Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) So when I am not shooting 40 S&W.I am dropping 500 and 2000lb bombs. Heck when I am shooting those it is easy to get 2 A well at least i think its 2A beause we never seem to be able to find or target after these bullets hit..

I have reloaded brass shot out of a 34 over 8 times with no problems. I just use standard dillion dies on the 650 and everything works great..

I can get any VV powders locally. I can not find any HS-6 or True blue. So maybe N340-350 or 3n37 0r 3N38

I have no searched for hours and have found very few loads for 9 major for an open glock. So please post them if you got em. Thanks in advance Craig
